Emmy Nominations 2024 Are Finally Here: See the Complete List

As a die-hard TV enthusiast and avid Emmy Awards follower, I couldn’t contain my excitement as the nominations for the 76th Annual Emmy Awards were announced! The anticipation was palpable, with previous winners Sheryl Lee Ralph and Tony Hale leading the way in revealing this year’s hopefuls.

Lights, camera, action!

The Emmy Award nominees for the 76th edition have been announced, introducing fresh contenders for victory.

The Television Academy asked past award recipients, Sheryl Lee Ralph for “Abbott Elementary” and Tony Hale for “Veep,” to announce the list of nominees during a live-streamed event at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on July 17.

Before the announcement this year, some shows were anticipated to be frontrunners at the ceremony, such as “Shogun” from FX and Netflix’s “Baby Reindeer.”

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always on the lookout for the latest and greatest in entertainment. So it’s no shock to me that shows like “The Bear,” “The Crown,” and “Abbott Elementary” are once again making waves this award season. These popular series have earned quite the reputation, with a combined total of 35 nominations in previous years alone – 13 for “The Bear,” 69 for “The Crown,” and 15 for “Abbott Elementary.”

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: This year, some beloved faces from previous Emmy contenders won’t be gracing the stage as the 2023 ceremony celebrates the final seasons of “Succession” and “Better Call Saul.” These shows have been Emmy darlings with their talented casts. However, all good things come to an end, and we’ll be recognizing their exceptional work one last time.

In the same vein, The White Lotus won’t receive any recognition at the 2024 awards show since the third season of Mike White’s dramedy is currently being filmed.

As an obsessed fan, I can’t contain my excitement leading up to the awards ceremony! I reflect on the amazing shows and acting performances of the past year that left me in awe. Unfortunately, Hollywood was momentarily stilled due to the disruptive strikes from actors and writers. Yet despite the challenges, their creativity continued to shine through, leaving us all eagerly anticipating the results.

I’ve had the privilege of witnessing countless remarkable programs, extraordinary performances, and impactful storytelling this year, despite the numerous challenges faced by our industry and its workforce. It’s because of the collective efforts of so many dedicated individuals that great television continues to thrive. I’m thrilled that Tony and Sheryl will join us in recognizing excellence across our field as we embark on a season filled with celebration.

So without further ado, keep reading for this year’s nominees.
