Enola Holmes 3 first look with Millie Bobby Brown unveiled as Netflix sequel begins production

Approximately two and a half years following the release of the second movie in the Enola Holmes series, it’s now been announced that work on a third film is indeed happening, as Netflix has verified.

The announcement about the news was made on the streamer’s official social media platforms, accompanied by a photo featuring returning cast members Millie Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge in a behind-the-scenes setting.

In the upcoming movie, Enola and Tewkesbury are set to reappear in their roles, just like Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster who will continue portraying Sherlock, Eudoria, and Moriarty respectively.

In the upcoming film, we can expect Himesh Patel to reappear, possibly taking on a more significant part, as he was unveiled as portraying Dr. John Watson in the closing credits scene of the previous movie.

As stated by Tudum, the fresh installment finds our young detective engaged with a brand-new mystery in Malta, all while advancing further in her relationship with Tewkesbury.

Jack Thorne is coming back to pen Enola Holmes 3 following his contributions to the initial two movies and his latest successful Netflix projects like Toxic Town and Adolescence.

For this upcoming movie, he’ll be working again with director Philip Barantini. Barantini is known for his exceptional work on Adolescence and has also contributed to projects like Boiling Point, Malpractice, and an episode of The Responder in the past.

After completing her role as Eleven in Stranger Things (with its fifth and last season now completed), Brown will once again take up her part as Enola.

Lately, she’s been featured prominently in the science fiction adventure film “The Electric State,” which co-stars Chris Pratt and is helmed by the Russo brothers.
