Enotria: The Last Song Delayed Indefinitely for Xbox Series X/S

As a long-time gamer who has weathered numerous delays and cancellations over the years, I can’t help but feel a tinge of disappointment upon hearing about yet another delay – this time for Enotria: The Last Song on Xbox Series X/S.

Although it may not match the high-quality visuals of “Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree”, Jyamma Games’ “Enotria: The Last Song” appears engaging for Souls-like genre enthusiasts. However, unfortunately, it won’t be available on Xbox Series X/S until a later date as it is only released digitally on September 19th for PS5 and PC.

The creators have shared that the launch of the Xbox edition has been postponed indefinitely, due to unforeseen difficulties they’ve encountered during the process. Despite their sincere endeavors and the relentless efforts of our committed team, there have been hurdles in making the release happen as planned. They emphasize that this decision was not taken lightly.

Despite not being directly mentioned, there’s a possibility that the Xbox Series S could be delaying the release. This is reminiscent of Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3, which encountered challenges in making split-screen co-op work on the console. Eventually, they decided to omit it for a launch in December 2023.

Game Science’s game Black Myth: Wukong experienced setbacks too, as the Xbox Series X/S version needed extra refining. It’s unclear if the Series S was problematic, and there have been varying accounts about an exclusivity pact with Sony. Keep an eye out for future announcements in the upcoming months.
