As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that I’ve never witnessed such a swift and positive response from a tech giant like Microsoft. Kudos to Jyamma Games for standing their ground and leveraging the power of the gaming community to get their voice heard. It’s refreshing to see a corporate behemoth not only listening but acting promptly when faced with community pressure.
Jyamma Games, the creators of “Enotria: The Last Song,” announced this week that they have postponed the release of their Soulslike action RPG on Xbox Series X/S indefinitely. This decision was made because Microsoft has not been communicating effectively, causing a delay in the game’s launch on Xbox.
It appears that sharing the intricate details about their plans paid off for Jyamma Games, as they’ve now established a close partnership with Microsoft following their game delay announcement and audience response on Twitter. The studio has confirmed this collaboration, aiming to release the game on Xbox.
In an official statement, the studio expresses gratitude to Phil Spencer and his team at Microsoft Gaming for swiftly addressing their issue and providing assistance. Additionally, they extend a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful community for the tremendous support shown in recent days. Your voices have resonated powerfully, and your dedication has touched us deeply.
Currently, we’re deeply collaborating with Microsoft, and our aim is to expedite the game’s launch on Xbox at the earliest convenience.
Of course, when Enotria will be able to release for Xbox Series X/S is still unknown, but at the very least, we know that progress is being made on that front.
In the meantime, Enotria: The Last Song will launch on September 19 for PS5 and PC.
Without Masks (nickname), due to the fantastic efforts of @XboxP3 and our incredible community, we’ve established a direct line with the Xbox Team. We can’t wait to collaborate and bring Enotria: The Last Song to Xbox as soon as possible!
