Over four million gamers have already experienced the Early Access version of the action RPG survival game with cooperative crafting, titled “Enshrouded.” Developed by Keen Games, the upcoming significant expansion, known as “Thralls of Twilight,” is scheduled for release in May.

Keen Games unveiled some key elements for their upcoming sixth update. They will provide additional information and a release date in May.
Thralls of Twilight features include:
- New enemies that creep, crawl, and stalk you further.
- There are more reasons than ever to enter the Shroud: more dangerous than ever before, find new resources, unlock the weapons customization mechanic, and more.
- Enhancements to the nighttime cycle mean there are plenty of reasons to have your Flameborn stay up late with enemy groups that roam the world at night and new rewards to be found – what will you find in the dark before it finds you?
- Like a diamond in the sky, with gems crafting for weapons, find a weapon customization mechanic. Customizable, craftable, and deconstructable.
Four Million Players Shining Bright
For over 15 months now, since Enshrouded entered Early Access, we’ve rolled out five significant content updates, seven patches, and more than 20 hotfixes. Despite this, our players have offered an almost unmanageable amount of suggestions and ideas for additional enhancements, as shared by Creative Director Antony Christoulakis at Keen Games. Given the sheer number of these recommendations, it’s impractical to respond to each one individually. Instead, we express our heartfelt gratitude and categorize them based on their frequency or intensity of request to guide the game’s development direction as it progresses.
Currently, Enshrouded can be accessed early on your PC through Steam. A final version will launch for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in the spring of 2026.
