Enter the Gungeon 2 announced for Switch 2, PC

Developers Dodge Roll and publisher Devolver Digital have unveiled the sequel to the roguelike action game, “Enter the Gungeon 2,” which will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. No official launch date has been disclosed as of yet.

During today’s Nintendo Switch 2 presentation, Dave Crooks from Dodge Roll playfully hinted at the upcoming Enter the Gungeon 2, a power-packed sequel to the renowned bullet hell dungeon crawler, boasting a fresh 3D art design, an array of novel weapons and adversaries, and an enhanced gameplay experience.

Traverse both recognized and uncharted territories in your quest to unravel the mysteries hidden within the dilapidated Gungeon. Within this game’s randomly generated chambers, find, unlock, and master extraordinary weaponry. Overpower the waves of Gundead that surge forth from its depths.

Engage in thrilling skirmishes against adorably wicked adversaries, who were once limited to the two-dimensional space. Enjoy watching them get flung about, sent flying, and hurled far down into abysses.

Select from a growing cast of Gungeoneers, including both familiar characters and new ones, to rescue and retrieve stranded heroes trapped in the Gungeon’s depths. Boost your strength through unique combinations of potent passive items, dynamic active items, blessings, curses, and your proficiency with an extensive arsenal of weapons.

And seek to understand why you find yourself under assault in the Gungeon once again…
