As a seasoned traveler who has navigated countless challenges across various dimensions, I must say that the Vago Mundo Phase II challenge is one for the books! It’s not every day you come across a test where the stakes are high and the rewards are greater.
In the latest update, version 5.1, a new Echo has been introduced featuring characters Zhongli and Keqing. Here’s a walkthrough for solving Zhongli’s riddle within the Envisaged Echoes.

How to Unlock Envisaged Echoes
- Adventure Rank 35 or above
- Complete and finalize a combat performance in Act 6 or higher of the Imaginarium Theater.
Envisaged Echoes Gameplay Details
To overcome character-specific challenges, you’ll need to use “Keys of Echoes”. Specifically, it takes 2 Keys to unlock a challenge stage for one character.
Envisaged Echoes Challenge Details
Once you’ve opened the character challenge stage, there are some prerequisites you need to meet before you can start the challenge:
- Character must be Level 90
- Character’s Friendship Level must be at least 8
You can hold up to 4 Keys of Echoes concurrently, but you won’t be able to obtain more keys when you reach this limit. To prevent being unable to claim additional Keys of Echoes, try unlocking character challenge stages first, and then complete the challenges once you fulfill the necessary conditions. After a challenge stage has been made accessible, you can attempt it multiple times.

Vago Mundo Phase I
Challenge Objective:Use the Resonant Stone Pillars to break the rock barrier
Press E to hit the first marked rock as a starting point, avoiding the extra pillar from Skill due to having a C2 Zhongli.)

After I conquer the obstacle, a gate swings open, but alas, there’s an impassable wall blocking my path to stage two. To bypass this hurdle, I spot a sturdy pillar that serves as my stepping stone, allowing me to scale up and continue on my gaming adventure.
Vago Mundo Phase II
Objective: Overpower all adversaries within the given timeframe
Initially, keep in mind that when Zhongli’s shield is down, his foes can inflict more damage per strike (ranging from 10,000 to 20,000), and this doesn’t factor in any additional damage from reactions.
What you need to do is break the Assisting Crystals so Zhongli can deal big AoE damage every 4.5 seconds every 30 seconds. The AoE is roughly half the length of the arena, meaning if you’re in the center of the arena, the shockwave is guaranteed to hit all enemies.
Tips: Hold E to create a shield while also breaking all the crystals.
When you have the buff, attack enemies and watch out for their attacks to ensure your shield doesn’t shatter quickly. This becomes especially crucial when Zhongli isn’t ready to use his abilities again.
If you possess the character Zhongli with C2 upgrade, his burst ability can generate a protective shield, which is beneficial. However, his burst animation takes approximately 2 seconds, making it less advisable to use at this moment since time is a critical factor for you.
After my ability wears off, I like to rotate my camera around to spot where the crystals will appear (they tend to be near the enemies that just popped up). There’s a tiny golden marker pointing towards their location too. As the timer runs low, I smash those crystals so I can recharge my ability again.
