Epic Games Store Major Change Means More Free Games Than Ever Before

Epic Games is making a significant shift in their Epic Games Store policy, promising an abundance of free games for its users that exceeds any previous offerings. Since launching the PC gaming platform, Epic Games has been providing weekly freebies for storefront users. On occasion, multiple games are given away at once. During holidays like Christmas, the usual schedule is temporarily altered to give away a game every day.

More recently, the Epic Games Store boosted its services by providing free games monthly through their mobile application. Now, they’re broadening their mobile approach to align with the strategy of their PC counterpart. Essentially, the weekly release of free games on the Epic Games Store mobile app is something we can expect going forward, similar to what they do on the PC version.

To start things off, the mobile version of the Epic Games Store is currently offering Super Meat Boy Forever from 2020 and Eastern Exorcist from 2021 at no cost. These games will remain free until March 27th, after which a new game offer will take their place. This follows the same release schedule as the PC version of the games. The upcoming free game has yet to be announced.

Alongside the fresh, complimentary weekly games available on Epic Games Store mobile, the following titles continue to be free at this moment: Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead, Mr. Racer: Premium, The Forest Quartet, The WereCleaner, Bowling Clash (available exclusively for Android), Endling – Extinction is Forever (Android exclusive), Chicken Police – Paint it Red (Android exclusive), One Hand Clapping (Android exclusive), Neighbours from Hell (Android exclusive), This is The Police (Android exclusive), This is The Police 2 (Android exclusive), This Is The President (Android exclusive), and Through the Darkest of Times (Android exclusive).

Much like the free PC games, there’s absolutely no catch in this case. This means you won’t have any subscription obligations, and once you’ve claimed a game, it’s yours to keep forever – as long as the game remains available on the Epic Games Store.
