Erika Jayne’s Ex Tom Girardi Sentenced to Over 7 Years in Prison

Tom Girardi will be spending several years behind bars.

Approximately nine months after Erika Jayne’s former spouse was convicted of four counts of wire fraud linked to a fraudulent scheme at his law firm Girardi Keese, he received a sentence of over seven years in a federal penitentiary, as announced by U.S. attorney Bilal A. Essayli.

In a June 3 statement, Essayli declared that this individual, who claimed to be an advocate for justice, was nothing but a swindler and deceiver who manipulated his defenseless clients, stealing millions of dollars from them. My office is committed to pursuing and prosecuting lawyers who are corrupt and those who aid them in criminal acts with great determination.

Beyond serving time in prison, the 86-year-old Girardi has been mandated to pay a fine of $35,000, as well as $2,310,247 in compensation to those affected by his embezzlement case. This case involved Girardi being found guilty of misappropriating millions of dollars from clients, including relatives of victims from a 2018 plane crash that resulted in the loss of 189 lives. These funds were used to cover both the expenses of his law firm and his personal expenditures.

Akil Davis, Assistant Director in Charge at the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office, commented in a statement, “Formerly known as a ‘legal legend’, Mr. Girardi, who claimed to combat corporate corruption, will now experience justice differently as he serves his lengthy prison term.” The case required years of dedicated effort from our agents and prosecutors, all driven by the desire to bring justice to the victims who were deceived by Girardi’s corrupt law firm during their vulnerable moments and while they were facing personal adversity.

According to the court’s decision, Girardi must give himself up to federal officials by July 17th, as he had previously denied any guilt related to the charges prior to his trial.

TopMob News has reached out to Girardi’s attorney for comment and has not heard back.

2020 saw Jayne being implicated in a fraud lawsuit due to allegations that she assisted her then-estranged husband with his criminal activities. However, it was later established in 2022, as revealed by court documents obtained by TopMob News, that Jayne had no direct knowledge of her husband’s business dealings.

Read on to see where Jayne falls within TopMob News’ official ranking of all the Real Housewives.

Bravo’s unsuccessful endeavor to showcase our country’s capital united four women who are so ordinary that it’s understandable if you don’t remember them – their names being Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney and Stacie Scott Turner. There is another woman, however, who was so eager for recognition that she intruded at a White House party. We’ll delve deeper into her story later on.

Who?

Vaguely familiar, but…

Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.

This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.

In the second season of Utah’s Housewives, a new cast member named Jennie found herself in hot water. Back in January 2022, her past offensive and racially insensitive comments on Facebook were brought to light online, leading to her termination. Despite offering an apology afterward, the harm had already been inflicted.

Her defining trait was “cougar.”

During season 16, the Orange County doctor, Dr. Jen, was not a fountain of drama. Her temporary marital issues with her husband, Ryne (or perhaps Ryan), were underwhelming and lacked excitement. However, we will always remember Dr. Jen’s outrageous behavior when she got heavily intoxicated on wine at the Dubrows’ incredibly awkward, yet captivating dinner party.

The initial experience of the nurse anesthetist could be succinctly described with a term we fervently hope is never repeated: “Esophagus-incident.

Katie was fond of discussing her charitable activities, yet she didn’t seem very active on-screen. She could be described as a one-time participant who didn’t add much to the group dynamics. Cutting a trip short? That’s not typically well-received among the ‘Housewives’.

During her two seasons as a full-time Housewife, it was evident that Charrisse was dealing with marital issues, and her champagne room is another notable aspect of her time on the show.

A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?

In season 12, it was refreshing to have some diversity in the predominantly white Orange County, but Peggy turned out to be a source of frustration. The disputes she engaged in were peculiar, frequently revolving around misunderstandings about words, and her actions during the Iceland trip, where she spent an entire day confined to her room, suggested that she might not be well-suited for the fast-paced lifestyle of the Real Housewives.

During season eight, instead of developing a connection with Nigerian costar Wendy Osefo, Nneka’s initial storyline centered solely on the claim that she allegedly labeled Wendy’s mother as a witch (indeed, quite unusual). It would have been fascinating to observe them fostering a relationship based on their shared culture rather than engaging in conflict without resolution.

In season 16, Noella whirled about in a whirlwind of frenetic activity. Despite her husband James departing the country and filing for divorce just prior to filming, which added an element of intrigue to her story, it was her ongoing feud with Heather Dubrow that kept her from sinking too low in the rankings. Perhaps given more time and another season, we might grow fonder of Mrs. Bergener.

In her debut season, she was known as a peacemaker, but by her final season, she went from that to constant complaints about a supposedly thrown cake and unsubstantiated accusations of anti-Semitism. This transformation seems unusually swift for a Real Housewives cast member.

Everything that Amber and her spouse, Jim, undertook appeared incredibly desperate. It also seemed that Jim found himself entangled in more of the drama than Amber did. Not a positive impression at all.

What stands out about Karen is her profession as a dentist, and it appeared as if none of her colleagues held her in high regard. Onward!

This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.

Among the more recent short-term cast members on Real Housewives of New York, Jules didn’t stay long enough to earn a top spot. Yet, she certainly provided an abundance of drama during her time on the show.

So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.

Similar to Sara Al Madani, Nina embodied a multi-faceted, prosperous Arab woman who skillfully combined contemporary lifestyle with age-old cultural customs. For the most part, she steered clear of the first season’s drama and occasionally found herself outshone by her co-stars’ more dominant personalities.

Taleen proved to be a valuable member during the second season of RHODubai, however, since we’ve only seen one season, it’s based on that single season that we’re evaluating her performance.

From seasons 11 and 12 of “America’s Next Top Model,” the veteran contestant was associated with a peach, but failed to leave a lasting impact on the realm of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” beyond her pregnancy that seemed prolonged throughout her stint. However, she did earn points for her memorable read of Marlo Hampton during their time in Tokyo.

As a rule, it takes observing multiple seasons to rank a new Housewife higher. However, Katie made an impressive debut during the 18th season of RHOC, challenging veteran Housewife Heather Dubrow right off the bat. It takes quite a bold woman to question someone as high-class as Ms. Fancypants.

Sara’s upbeat, insightful perspective on life was agreeable yet lacked the typical elements of drama (apart from the incident where she gave Caroline Brooks some unsolicited advice about parenting). However, this tech entrepreneur broke down barriers and defied expectations about what it signifies to be a contemporary Muslim woman in the Middle East, and for that, we commend her.

In their debut on season 13 of RHONJ, the newcomers seemed to embody the stereotypical Jersey Housewife and engaged in a prolonged spat over an insignificant matter that Andy Cohen labeled as unnecessary at the reunion. Regrettably, these erstwhile friends didn’t add much depth during season 14.

In the first season, Larsa didn’t leave a strong impact and departed from the show. When RHOM was rebooted for season four in 2021 by Peacock, her narrative revolved around being an ex-best friend of Kim Kardashian and promoting racy foot photos on OnlyFans (among other things).

After appearing as a Bravolebrity for a single season, she participated in season 12 of ‘Next Food Network Star’ in the year 2016, but unfortunately, she didn’t win that competition either.

Sadly, she seemed to serve merely as a target for Brandi Glanville. Moreover, her motto glorifying the questionable idea that one can never be too thin appeared distasteful.
