Kim Kardashian is setting the record straight.
Following her announcement about completing law school after a six-year journey, the Kardashians’ star posted a message praising her degree as a genuine accomplishment.
6 years ago, Kim chose an unusual route to achieve her goal of becoming a lawyer, as expressed in a post on Instagram dated May 22nd. This journey wasn’t straightforward, and it took more time than anticipated, but she never wavered from her pursuit. Each class presented moments of self-doubt, tears, and victory – particularly when she overcame subjects that initially caused apprehension.
The 44-year-old pointed out that embracing the “mystery” was an essential aspect of life’s charm. She proceeded to explain the unique structure of her Law Office Study program, where students embark on four-year apprenticeships at law firms instead of attending conventional law schools.
Kim clarified, “I enrolled in a demanding course approved by the California State Bar, utilizing my 75 previously earned college credits to finish a six-year program instead of the usual four.” She acknowledged, “It was indeed a genuine experience, and the achievement at the end is equally real.
Apart from her apprenticeship, Kim attempted and finally passed the “baby bar” exam three times – this exam is significant for students enrolled in unaccredited law courses as it marks the end of their first year of study. Additionally, she also took the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE), a vital test required to qualify as a licensed lawyer.
The founder of SKIMS gratefully acknowledged that none of her accomplishments would have been possible without the support of her friend Van Jones, mentors Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney, as well as Sam Farkas and Chuck Shonholtz. She specifically mentioned that these individuals invested countless hours to help her reach success.
Reflecting on this transformative journey, I can confidently say it has left an indelible mark on my life and instilled valuable insights that will stay with me for all time. Toast to embracing strength and fresh starts!
Without a doubt, Kim didn’t just mark her career achievement with an inspiring message; she also celebrated the occasion in a unique way. Post-graduation, this popular reality TV star organized a private commencement ceremony, which was graced by close family members like her sister Khloe Kardashian and her children with ex-Kanye West – Saint West (9 years old), Chicago West (7 years old), and Psalm West (6 years old).
In simpler terms, Kim, who is equally a parent to North West (aged 11) with Kanye, conveyed to her close friends during the celebrations, “Each one of you has been part of my journey with me.
