Jessie Combs and D’Lila Combs are moving on up.
18-year-old twins, daughters of Sean “Diddy” Combs and the late Kim Porter, marked their high school graduation by posting snippets from this significant occasion on social media.
On May 23rd, D’Lila and Jessie posted a video story to their shared Instagram account. In this video, they could be seen walking hand-in-hand onto the stage during their graduation ceremony, donning navy blue gowns and caps. As their names were announced over a microphone, they proceeded to accept their diplomas. Once they had received their diplomas, D’Lila and Jessie proudly displayed their plaques for the audience and cheered together.
And that wasn’t the only glimpse the twins gave into their festivities.
In a different Instagram Story post, D’Lila and Jessie revealed the luxurious graduation presents they received from their brother Justin Combs, aged 31, who is also the son of music mogul Diddy and fashion designer Misa Hylton. The siblings were surprised to find exquisite diamond necklaces hidden within the gifts, causing them both to exclaim in awe.
Captioning the heartwarming moment, D’Lila and Jessie wrote, “Thankkk u Justin we love uuuu.”
Absolutely, it wasn’t just Justin who celebrated the twins’ achievement as part of the Combs family. Diddy’s son, Christian “King” Combs, aged 27 (mother is Kim Porter), and Love Sean Combs, aged 2 (shared with Dana Tran), were also present at this significant occasion.
Notably missing from the event was the twins’ father, who is currently standing trial in New York over allegations of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution. (It should be noted that he has pleaded not guilty to these charges.)
Even though Diddy couldn’t make it to the special occasion, his daughters have been a source of encouragement during his ongoing legal struggles. They attended court earlier this month and, together with their other siblings, expressed their support for him publicly.
In October, a message was posted on Quincy Combs’ Instagram by his siblings that read: “Together, we’ve got your back every step of the way.” They expressed their unwavering belief in truth and the resilience of their family. “We dearly miss and love you, Dad,” they added.

In 2012, Scott Mescudi, better known as Kid Cudi, remembered a discussion he had with Sean “Diddy” Combs not long after his car had caught fire. The artist behind “Day ‘n’ Night” claimed that Combs and his companions had also intruded upon his home in December 2011, following the revelation of his short-lived relationship with Cassie Ventura, who was previously involved with Bad Boy Records founder Diddy.
Following the unfortunate incident where my car was torched in January 2012, an event I attributed to Combs, our encounter took place in a hotel meeting room in Los Angeles. There, he stood by the window, his hands clasped behind his back, reminding me of a Marvel supervillain casually surveying his domain.
The 41-year-old shared with the jurors that it was only him and myself in the room. We delved into the entire account of how Cassie and I began dating and why it ended. His main argument was ‘You were with my girlfriend,’ to which I responded, ‘She told me you two had broken up and I trusted her word.’
He remained composed and gave me water on two occasions, which only added to my unease. His calm demeanor was strange to me. Later, Cassie arrived. I was dismayed to discover she returned to him. In essence, she conveyed that our feelings for each other had developed over time, circumstances simply unfolded as they did.
In her five-day testimony earlier this month, Ventura recounted instances where she claimed to have been abused by Combs. She mentioned that their relationship ended when Combs warned her, “I’m going to cause harm to both of us.
Following their conversation at the Los Angeles hotel meeting room, before matters escalated, they stood up and exchanged a handshake.
Mescudi mentioned that during our close embrace, he inquired, ‘What are the plans for my vehicle?’ He responded, ‘I’m not aware of what you’re referring to.’ A pause followed, and then he asked, ‘Are we okay?’ To which Mescudi replied, ‘Well, you torched my car.’
Mescudi shared insight into two incidents, which he blames Combs for, during his testimony.
In December 2011, the musician known as “The Pursuit of Happiness” claimed that he received a call from Combs, following reports of an incident where Combs and his entourage allegedly forced their way into the musician’s home. This alleged break-in occurred after news surfaced about the musician’s relationship with Ventura, who had an on-again, off-again romance with Combs between 2007 and 2018.
According to Mescudi, he responded, “‘What’s happening?’ He replied, ‘I’m here, I’ve been waiting for you.’
While he said he wanted to “fight” Combs, he decided not to since he wasn’t sure who was with him.
Later in February, Mescudi’s vehicle was set ablaze by a Molotov cocktail (apparently placed in the driver’s seat), just as he was approximately 45 minutes from his residence.
Previously, Ventura claimed in a lawsuit she later settled in 2023 against Combs that he had threatened to destroy Mescudi’s vehicle upon discovering their relationship. The lawsuit stated, “At around this time, Kid Cudi’s car was destroyed in its driveway.
On the seventh day of Combs’ trial, which concluded on May 20th, the rapper addressed everyone present in the courtroom with a statement.
In a loud voice, as the court session ended for the day, he declared, “I love you all,” according to People magazine. Softly, almost to himself, he followed up with, “Yep. That’s love.
After making his statement, Combs addressed a lady in the audience and seemed to hint at his son, Justin Combs (aged 31), by saying, “Could you please convey to Justin that I’m thinking about him?
On May 20th, Regina Ventura stated that in the year 2011, Diddy (Combs) threatened to disclose risqué videos featuring his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, following her relationship with Mescudi.
Regina explained in court that she fell ill, both physically and emotionally. She confessed that the discovery of the sex tape left her bewildered. She believed the man was attempting to harm her daughter, who had been involved with Scott Mescudi. His demand for $20,000 added to her distress.
She claimed that she and her spouse, Rodrick Ventura, secured a home equity loan as the means to acquire the necessary funds. Furthermore, she stated, “This was the sole method available for us to procure the money.
As for why Combs demanded the lump sum?
In my personal perspective, I can tell you that I felt enraged because he invested funds in me, only to discover that I had been involved with someone else.
David James disclosed details about Combs’ luggage during his testimony, revealing approximately 25 to 30 bottle caps containing pills. He mentioned that some of these pills had the likeness of former President Barack Obama on them.
The previous aide stated, as recorded in court documents acquired by NBC News, that among multiple pills, one appeared to be molded after a past president’s likeness. He specified that this president was none other than Barack Obama.
James shared that Combs was known to carry a Louis Vuitton bag containing at least $10,000 in cash, pain relievers such as Advil and Tylenol, Viagra for sexual enhancement, and pills said to boost his sperm count. He further claimed that the rap tycoon had Percocet and ecstasy concealed within.
During his testimony, James informed the jury that there were always around $10,000 in cash, pain relievers like Advil and Tylenol, erectile dysfunction medication such as Viagra, and pills for enhancing sperm production in Combs’ overnight bag.
James further claimed that Combs was found with “Percocet and MDMA” (commonly known as ecstasy) in his possession, an assertion backed by his former assistant who stated they had observed Combs consuming these substances.
The prosecution provided a peek at the rapper’s room at the Park Hyatt hotel in New York, where he was apprehended on September 16th.
The images, captured by Homeland Security’s Special Agent Yasin Binda (who provided testimony), showcased various items such as baby oil and Astroglide lubricant stored in Ziploc bags, five bottles of baby oil in the bathtub, two more bottles of lubricant found in a drawer, two containers holding a powdery substance, and $9,000 in cash.
As reported by Binda, the substances discovered within the prescription container were identified as both ketamine and a blend containing ketamine and MDMA upon testing.
A close friend of Ventura’s declared on May 19th that she directly observed Combs physically harming Ventura during their trip to Jamaica, and also witnessed further instances of this abuse at a home Combs was renting in the Hollywood Hills.
Kerry Morgan stated that her 17-year friendship with Ventura ended following an attack by Combs at his apartment in 2018. As she was listening to music, according to NBC News, Combs allegedly approached from behind and choked her, leaving marks on her neck. She also claimed he struck her on the back of the right ear with a wooden hanger. Cassie was reportedly in the bathroom at the time.
In the course of our discussion, she retained a lawyer, however, she didn’t proceed with a court case and consented to put her signature on a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), receiving a payment of $30,000 as part of the arrangement.
According to Morgan’s testimony, it has been silent between us since then, as my last conversation with Sean was on the night of the attack, and the last time I encountered Cassie was when I put my signature on the Non-Disclosure Agreement.
Moreover, during the court proceedings, Morgan stated that she had since moved forward with her life but chose to testify due to the compulsory summons issued by the government.
She stated that she suggested Ventura should part ways with Combs, but she couldn’t do so due to her commitments such as her job, her vehicle, and her living arrangements.
During questioning from lawyer Marc Agnifilo, Morgan stated that she ceased communicating with Ventura as he wasn’t sympathetic towards her following the 2018 event. She emphasized, “I have a limit when it comes to physical violence.
Dawn Richard, a former member of Danity Kane, declared on May 16th that she observed Richard Woolworth chase his then-girlfriend Ventura with a skillet filled with eggs back in 2009.
In simpler terms, “He stormed downstairs angrily and demanded to know where his eggs were, accusing Cassie of always making mistakes and asking where his food was. He then approached a skillet containing the eggs and attempted to strike her on the head, causing her to fall to the ground.” Richard made this statement according to court transcripts obtained by NBC News.
Ventura “went into the fetal position,” Richard continued, “literally trying to hide her head.”
According to Ventura’s testimony on May 15, there were no drugs blended with the baby oil that Combs favored for his “freak offs,” as there were no such substances present in the oil.
In October 2024, a legal claim was made stating that Combs had contaminated the oil with GHB, a substance commonly known as the “date rape drug.
During the cross-examination under defense questioning on May 15, Ventura stated that Combs tended to become agitated and react in a volatile manner if she used drugs with others rather than with him.
She mentioned that Combs had previously overdosed on painkillers. When defense attorney Anna Estevao inquired if her former partner’s mood changes could be linked to medication, Ventura responded affirmatively, stating that “it was indeed a factor.
Inquired about it during the daytime whether Combs appeared to be a drug addict, she responded, “I’d describe him as someone who was addicted.
Her response affirmed that Combs displayed signs of anger or volatility during his withdrawal period.
“I’m not a doctor,” Ventura said, but “coming off of certain pills he would be pretty irritated.”
During Ventura’s testimony on May 15th, Judge Arun Subramanian paused the proceedings as Combs’ defense presented graphic emails and text messages during their cross-examination.
When attorney Estevao showed Ventura sexually suggestive texts they exchanged between 2009 and to prove their relationship was consensual, the defense objected, and the court agreed with this objection.
After hearing the objection, Ventura was spotted conversing quietly with the judge, promptly causing the official to announce a 10-minute recess.
Before the jury’s arrival, a lively discussion ensued between the prosecution and defense, with the lead defense lawyer, Marc Agniflio, advocating for additional texts to be presented in the courtroom. However, the judge pointed out that certain messages didn’t comply with federal evidence guidelines.
Nevertheless, several pieces of evidence were allowed, containing explicit descriptions of the sexual activities discussed by Combs and Ventura.
Or:
It was also permitted to present various evidence items that contained explicit accounts of the sexual experiences shared by Combs and Ventura.
On May 15th, Ventura stated that she couldn’t definitively say how many times she and Combs engaged in certain activities, but she estimated it to be around hundreds.
She claimed that her former partner secretly recorded their intimate moments with the intention of using them for extortion. She stated that he threatened to expose these recordings, which could potentially harm her professional standing.
Ventura explained, “He often brought them up when he was frustrated. It was a regular occurrence, unfortunately. I felt threatened in both my job and personal life. It was humiliating, all of it. It’s vile and degrading. Nobody deserves such treatment.
On May 14th, Ventura stated that she received a $20 million settlement from her former boyfriend Combs, following a lawsuit she filed against him in November 2023. The lawsuit alleged that during their relationship, he had sexually assaulted and physically abused her.
Testified Ventura, following a dinner date at a Malibu restaurant with Combs in 2018, where he was “very kind,” he subsequently went to her apartment and allegedly committed a sexual assault against her. She mentioned that she had already been in a relationship with Alex Fine, whom she married in 2019, at the time of this incident.
She testified that I entered, followed by an assault in our living room. All I recall is weeping, pleading for him to stop, yet it happened so swiftly. His eyes seemed cold and vacant, as if a different person had taken control, leaving me feeling violated.
As a die-hard admirer, I’d like to clarify a point about my idol, Mr. Combs: His legal team has consistently asserted that no instances of nonconsensual intimacy ever occurred. Instead, those who have accused him of such sexual misconduct willingly participated in any sexual activities they were involved in.
Ventura stated that she engaged in consensual intercourse with Combs on another occasion following the alleged incident. When questioned about her decision to have sex with him again, she explained, “You can’t simply switch off feelings like that. I still held a positive image of who he was as an individual.
In late 2011, Ventura split with Mescudi due to Combs allegedly threatening, “Your car will be destroyed.” This was her testimony.
Ventura stated to the court, “There’s an excessive risk, with an unknown outcome, should we proceed to meet again.” He also mentioned that Sean threatened them both with harm.
Departures from Ventura were associated with instances of urinary tract infections, mouth ulcers, and digestive problems, as stated under oath on May 14.
During her testimony, Ventura explained that we had multiple instances where we engaged in what we called ‘freak offs’, which were happening one after another. On some occasions, I even had a ‘freak off’ while dealing with an infection. I attempted to clean it out using water. Eventually, the antibiotic CIPRO became ineffective. The situation was chaotic.
She continued, “It was really painful for a long time. I can’t believe I actually dealt with that.”
Among the text messages between Ventura and Combs shown in court, she relayed in one that she had sores on her tongue. He wrote, “I’m sorry.”
On his second day of testimony, Ventura described the 2016 hotel assault, which was captured on CCTV cameras and later broadcast by CNN in May 2024.
She stated that Combs hurled a vase at her following an attempt to exit the Intercontinental Hotel, preceded by a physical attack on her.
Ventura stated on the stand on May 14 that the vase appeared to be moving towards him, and it collided with the wall instead of hitting him. He recalled someone shouting at him, but isn’t certain of the specific words used. He thinks the person was likely using a term other than his name.
However, she said that Combs told her “that I wasn’t going to leave him, that I couldn’t.”
Immediately following the hotel incident, Ventura mentioned that she was required to attend the screening of her film “The Perfect Match” sporting bruises on her face and body together with Combs. In addition to having to layer thick makeup to conceal her swollen eye and split lip, she also stated, “I had numerous bruises on my legs, so I altered my attire.
On May 13, the singer stated under oath that Sean Combs confronted her in a Los Angeles hotel hallway back in March 2016, due to his anger over her exiting a “spat” or argument they had, which he referred to as a “freak off.” (It’s worth noting that footage of the incident was broadcast by CNN in 2024. The defense attempted unsuccessfully to keep this video from being considered as evidence.)
In response to the court, Ventura stated, “I decided to depart, and as I did, Sean accompanied me down the hall. He then seized me, pushed me to the floor, kicked me, and pulled me back into the room, taking my belongings with him.
Initially, she didn’t feel like joining in, but she had a movie premiere scheduled just a few days ahead, and she wanted to make sure Combs was satisfied. So, she explained, if she could somehow appease him, her premiere event would go without a hitch.
After receiving a black eye from him, she expressed, “At that moment, all I could focus on was leaving there safely. My debut was coming up and I didn’t want to spoil it.” When he shoved her to the floor in the hallway, Ventura stated, she remained on the ground because “I didn’t want him to cause any more harm than he already had.
Testified Ventura, she consumed alcohol and ecstasy during her initial sexual encounter with an escort in Combs’ presence. To get through “freak-out sessions,” she stated, she would use marijuana, ketamine, mushrooms, or whichever drug was popularly used at that time.
“I couldn’t imagine myself doing any of that without having some sort of buffer,” she said.
Occasionally, she’d retch violently during heated arguments, as Ventura put it, and Combs urged me to stand up and carry on with the confrontation.
She expressed to Combs that the hurtful remarks left her feeling awful and valueless, as Ventura explained. However, he seemed to disregard her worries.
Following an unusual incident, traces of baby oil were found throughout the hotel room, as Ventura stated in court. If Combs had asked someone to soil her with urine, it’s possible that the sheets may have some stains. Moreover, if she was having her period during this time, there could also be blood spots on the sheets and surrounding furniture.
Ventura stated that the experience left her feeling deeply “embarrassed.” She described it as “revolting” and overwhelming, adding that she found herself in an uncomfortable situation from which it was difficult to escape.
According to Ventura, he found it appealing, which is why the event transpired. When Emily A. Johnson, the prosecutor, questioned her about not resisting Combs’ instructions in these instances, she explained, “I believed it was clear that I didn’t wish to comply.
On the 13th of May, Ventura stated that Combs instructed them, including the “freak off” group members, to coat themselves with baby oil.
In court, she stated, “Sean preferred it hot and shining, so every five minutes, we applied it.
At the Montage Beverly Hills, during a surprising incident, Ventura recalled that Combs had invited her to enter an inflatable pool filled with baby oil, all while she was dressed in clothing.
Despite her reluctance, if Sean Combs desired an event to unfold, that’s exactly what would transpire, she emphasized. “We employed a total of ten standard-sized bottles of baby oil,” she added.
Back in 2013, I confided in prosecutors that during our initial year together and throughout the subsequent decade, my partner, Diddy (Sean Combs), suggested we add a twist to our intimate moments – voyeurism. It all started when I arranged for an escort and set up a scenario so I could put on a show for him, with another person involved in the act.
Over time, she found herself engaging in sex shows referred to as “freak offs” by Combs, which could span from 36 hours to four days, eventually turned into a regular occupation for her.
She remembered, ‘At first, Sean arranged everything, including the setup at the hotel room.’ This is what transpired, as she later reminisced.
Ventura said that her “stomach churned” when he first proposed the experience.
She admitted, “I didn’t understand at first how it would excite him, but I took on the task.” She confessed to being perplexed, anxious, yet deeply loving him and desiring his happiness. It wasn’t something she initially desired or wished to do frequently, but her love for him made her want to please him.
She admitted, “At some point, I felt I didn’t have much of a choice.”
In their on-again, off-again relationship spanning from 2007 to 2018, Ventura claimed that Combs often exhibited violent behavior towards her.
She told the jury that the disagreements between us were indeed aggressive, often escalating into instances of physical harm such as pushing, shoving, and dragging. Additionally, he would roughly handle me, forcefully throw me, and kick me.
She shared that she frequently had noticeable injuries, mentioning, “I’d develop knots on my forehead, have swollen eyes – both black and red – and sport a variety of bruises across my entire body.
On May 13th, Ventura will testify following Daniel Philip, a male escort. In light of her being eight months pregnant, Combs’ defense team has asked for her to be positioned at the witness stand before the jury arrives so as to ensure a comfortable setup during the trial.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this: “In my opinion, there’s an inherent charm to pregnancy that can evoke empathy. I believe it’s crucial to acknowledge its enchanting qualities.
It’s clear that Ventura joined later, as he entered the courtroom only when the jury had already been assembled. This suggests that his legal team’s request was denied earlier in the proceedings.
On one specific instance when Ventura didn’t immediately respond to Combs’ call, Philip testified on May 12 that Combs angrily hurled a bottle of liquor in her vicinity, then forcefully pulled her by her hair and forced his way into the bedroom. “She was shouting,” Philip recounted, and from another room, he claimed to have heard what seemed like him striking her. According to Philip, he overheard Combs saying, “‘I instruct you to come here, you come here now, not later.’
Phillip said he was “terrified” and did not intervene.
Additionally, he stated that on another instance, it seemed to him that Combs was physically abusing Ventura at the Essex House hotel in New York. “I heard her crying, ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry,’ and what sounded like someone being struck and shoved around the room,” Philip explained. “Looking around the corner, I saw Mr. Combs exit the hotel completely, he might have had a towel wrapped around him.
Ventura exited the room and leaped onto Philip’s lap, as he stated. He went on to say, “She seemed to be trying to reassure me that ‘everything will be fine’ and ‘I’ll manage,'” but Philip responded, “Things are not alright and you need professional assistance.
“I tried to explain to her that she was in real danger if she stayed with him,” Phillip said.
During questioning by prosecutor Maureen Comey, Philip explained that he didn’t contact the police because he viewed Combs as a person with immense influence. He believed that even if he had reported the situation, there was a possibility that his own life could still have been at risk.
Daniel Philip, who claimed he was managing a male strip show during the stated period, declared that he received an unspecified amount of money, roughly around several thousand dollars, for engaging in sexual activities with Ventura while Diddy (Combs) observed at Manhattan’s Gramercy Hotel in 2012. Philip identified Combs by his voice despite the fact that Combs was wearing a robe, a baseball cap, and a bandanna concealing his face.
In my professional opinion, Ventura mentioned that she would gratuity me upon our departure, and this is what Philip shared with the court. Subsequently, we engaged intimately. To put it delicately, we both applied baby oil on ourselves for a short while. It’s important to note that Combs was situated in a corner, engaging in personal activities.
Afterward, the witness continued, Ventura gave him “a couple of thousand more.”
Over the course of the following year, Philip claimed he was reached out to on various occasions for more meetings, not just with Ventura and Combs, but also at different hotels and in their homes located in New York. He stated that Combs secretly filmed him and Ventura during one or two sexual encounters, and there were instances when Combs would step in and engage in sexual activities with Ventura while Philip was present.
In the lawsuit she filed against her former partner in 2023 for claims of sexual assault and physical violence, Ventura asserted that Combs compelled her into having intimate relations with male escorts.
According to Florez’s testimony, Ventura appeared frightened. She huddled in the corner with her hood up, concealing herself. Her face wasn’t visible, and she seemed to be hiding there. Nearby, a shattered flower vase lay on the floor.
In my fervent enthusiasm, I couldn’t help but notice that Ventura appeared with a striking purple eye upon her departure from the hotel, as Florez mentioned. After she had taken her leave, Florez shared, he and the desk manager felt it necessary to ascend the stairs to gently remind Combs of our esteemed hotel policies. As Florez recounted, Combs seemed to believe that our diligent manager was capturing him on his device, prompting him to seize it. When Combs attempted to take hold of my phone, according to Florez’s account, I found myself pressed against a wall. We made it clear to Combs, as I testified in court, that we were not recording him and sought to calm the situation down.
In court, the prosecution presented slowed-down surveillance footage from May 2024, which originally aired on CNN, depicting Combs seemingly attacking Ventura by hitting, kicking, and dragging him. Earlier, the defense had claimed that this video was sped up, making the altercation seem more violent than it actually was. Additionally, the jury watched a video that Florez captured on his phone when he responded to an emergency call concerning a distressed woman on the sixth floor.
In his testimony, Florez stated that he chose not to contact the police immediately as Ventura refused to discuss what had transpired and indicated that she simply wished to depart from the situation.
As a dedicated follower of duty, I, Israel Florez, formerly serving as a Los Angeles Police Officer, found myself stationed as a security guard at the InterContinental Hotel on an unforgettable day – March 5, 2016. It was during this time that the unfortunate altercation between Combs and Ventura took place, an event that would later be captured on surveillance footage, which garnered significant attention when it was first published by CNN in May 2024. In her opening statement, Geragos emphasized that this footage presented “overwhelming evidence of domestic violence,” primarily due to infidelity discovered on a cell phone, and not related to any allegations of sex trafficking.
On May 12th, Florez stated that he witnessed signs of a scuffle on the specific day in question, and Combs reportedly handed him a pile of cash to ignore what happened.
During questioning, Florez stated that he was absolutely certain that Combs’ action was an attempt to bribe him.
