As summer approaches, we’re eagerly anticipating fresh content from our beloved streaming platforms. Many viewers often view Disney+ as one of the more esteemed platforms due to Disney’s global dominance in the entertainment industry. With Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and classic Disney animations all falling under its banner, there’s something for everyone on this streamer. June is set to bring new offerings that will delight fans of all ages.

Revisit an adored cartoon series from our youth, as it returns with fresh episodes, this time focusing on honoring the women in sports broadcasting. Unlike May being dedicated to Star Wars, June is all about Marvel. The Marvel Multiverse continues its release of the newest addition to its extensive TV series collection. Therefore, don’t miss out on everything new arriving on Disney+ in June 2025.

‘Phineas and Ferb’ (Season 5)

Streaming June 6

It appears that we have 104 more days left for summer break. Remarkably, Disney Channel’s classic animated series “Phineas and Ferb” is coming back with fresh episodes this summer. The original show chronicled the escapades of step-brothers Phineas and Ferb, their sister Candace, and various other friends and foes in the town of Danville. Dr. Heinz Doofenschmirtz was also present, attempting (and typically failing) to create a new nefarious device.

Initially, the popular series titled “Phineas and Ferb” aired for four consecutive seasons between 2007 and 2015. The main voices behind the characters were Vincent Martella, Thomas Sangster, Ashley Tisdale, Caroline Rhea, Dee Bradley Baker, Dan Povenmire, and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh. For this comeback, most of the original cast is back, with David Errigo, Jr. stepping in for Thomas Sangster as Ferb. In January 2023, Disney announced the production of seasons five and six. The first two episodes will air on both Disney Channel and Disney XD on June 5. Beginning June 6, the initial ten episodes of the new season will be available on Disney+, perfect for those planning their summer holidays!

‘Ironheart’ (Season 1)

Streaming June 24

The most recent addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is titled “Ironheart“, a spin-off from the hit film “Black Panther“. Dominique Thorne reprises her character Riri Williams, who was seen in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever“, as she returns to her hometown, Chicago. There, she crosses paths with Parker Robbins/The Hood (played by Anthony Ramos), and their contrasting use of technology versus magic and dark arts creates an interesting dynamic. The upcoming series delves deeper into the character of Ironheart, a role which was only hinted at in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever“.

In this production, you’ll find actors like Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Paul Calderon, Cree Summer, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Jim Rash, who played the MIT Dean in Captain America: Civil War. The full trailer was unveiled on May 14, receiving acclaim for swiftly introducing characters, action, plot, and the story’s significance. However, as is often the case, there were instances of unnecessary “woke” criticism with no valid justification. Ironheart is scheduled to conclude the TV segment of the MCU’s Phase Five. The first three episodes of the six-episode series will be available at 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT on Tuesday, June 24.

‘Underdogs’ (Season 1)

Streaming TBA June

Underdogs: A Journey into Nature’s Unseen Champions, narrated by none other than Ryan Reynolds, delves deep into the hidden marvels of the animal kingdom. What more could one ask for? This thrilling series was initially given the go-ahead by National Geographic in January 2023 and is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ this June. The series boasts a total of 10 captivating episodes, all narrated by Reynolds. It promises to shed light on the often overlooked critters in nature, presenting an honest portrayal of their “good, bad, and ugly” aspects.

At the moment, there’s no specific date announced yet for the airing of the show. We only have a trailer that has quite a gritty style, featuring some intense hippo imagery. Fans of animals and humor are encouraged to stay tuned, as further information is expected to be revealed soon.
