Euphoria season 3 is finally, officially, underway – first look revealed

Great news! It appears the production for the third season of the show has officially begun, which we’ve been eagerly awaiting.

The confirmation about the news came through on the drama’s main social media platforms, along with an initial glimpse of Zendaya reprising her role as Rue Bennett.

Based on the initial, somewhat mysterious preview for season 3, we have limited information about its storyline; yet, it’s been verified by Zendaya that there will be a significant time leap following the events depicted in season 2, during which the characters were still attending school.

On Entertainment Weekly’s The Awards, Zendaya remarked that this decision was appropriate since “one can only handle so much teenage melodrama”, followed by a humorous comment: “And then she’s caught cheating on her partner once more!

She admitted, “I’m not fully informed about the current events,” and added, “Although I’m unsure of the specifics regarding what the upcoming season holds, I am certain that a leap in time is taking place.

She remarked: “It’s intriguing to explore these characters beyond their high school years, and observe how their childhood experiences and high school life impact their maturity and the people they grow into, in a broader context. I look forward to seeing where their lives take them as well.

Additionally, it has been verified that Zendaya will be joined by several other stars in the upcoming third season. These include Eric Dane portraying Cal Jacobs, Sydney Sweeney as Cassie Howard, Maude Apatow as Lexi Howard, and Colman Domingo as Ali Muhammed.
