As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for cel-shaded masterpieces and a penchant for exploration games, I can hardly contain my excitement for Helder Pinto’s magnum opus, “Europa”. Having followed its development since its unveiling last year, I’ve eagerly awaited every update, and the release date announcement at Nintendo’s Indie World presentation was like manna from heaven.
Artist Helder Pinto’s enchanting, Ghibli-style, hand-drawn exploration adventure game, “Europa,” has been a captivating prospect since its reveal last year, and now we have the exact launch date. Fortunately, it won’t be long before we can play this game.
During the latest Nintendo Indie World event, Future Friends Games unveiled that their title will be released in Europe on October 11. This announcement came accompanied by a fresh trailer, which showcased a significant amount of new gameplay scenes as well.
The game maintains an eye-catching appearance due to its captivating cel-shaded design, as demonstrated by the trailer that highlights diverse settings. These settings range from serene lakes and picturesque landscapes, submerged regions, architectural marvels, floating mountains, icy terrains, and beyond. For a sneak peek at the game’s visuals, watch the trailer below.
Starting in October, Europa will debut on both the Nintendo Switch and PC systems. A trial version can be found on each platform.
