Eurovision confirms unexpected gaming crossover with Graham Norton

Roblox has made a name for itself by partnering with well-known entities such as celebrities, shows, and companies. Now, we can proudly announce that Eurovision is joining this expanding roster!

Indeed, the much-anticipated event featuring Europe’s catchy, charming tunes is making its way into the game! The one and only host of the show, Graham Norton, will appear as a Roblox character, dressed smartly in a sharp pink jacket and black pants.

Participants are welcome to take part with Norton, starting from the main stage and extending into the metaverse, during the festivities. The game intends to serve as an integral sidekick to the actual competition taking place in Basel, Switzerland.

Sharing the news on social platforms, Norton expressed: “Hey there, globe! You’re invited to my Eurovision Bash 2025!

Disclosing details about the upcoming event, it was announced that “My Eurovision Party 2025” will take place within the expansive digital realm of Roblox, a platform where users can design, enjoy interactive experiences together, and transform into whatever imagination allows.

The Eurovision Roblox event allows supporters to represent their chosen nation and personalize their very own Eurovision viewing events.

On Tuesdays the 13th and 15th of May, during the semifinals, and on the 17th for the Grand Final, Roblox will act as a secondary screen, providing live updates, notable performances, and in-game festivities in real-time.

During these festivities, video game enthusiasts are given the opportunity to play well-known Eurovision songs from previous years and this year’s hits as part of an engaging rhythm game. They can showcase their musical aptitude by competing on leaderboards, representing their preferred countries, or even rising to stardom themselves within the game.

Not only that, but players will have the opportunity to create their own Eurovision parties, search for hidden “Eurohearts” throughout the game world to fill their collections, and unwind in cozy hangout areas tucked away in the Swiss Alps.

We’re transporting the vibrant atmosphere of the planet’s biggest live music festival onto a popular social space where countless youth gather, enjoy themselves, and showcase their individuality.

Joining the enthusiasm, Rob Holley, head of digital for the Eurovision Song Contest, said: “Invite your pals to jump into My Eurovision Celebration on Roblox!” or simply “Let’s all have fun at ‘My Eurovision Party’ on Roblox with our friends.

In this game, you’ll be able to sync your rhythm with popular tunes, compete to rise up the rankings, customize your gathering with recognizable Eurovision stage decorations, and maybe cross paths with some well-known Eurovision artists during your journey.

“It’s a whole new (and seriously fun) way to experience the Eurovision Song Contest!”

2025’s Eurovision Party within the game is now active and accessible until 30th May. Roblox assures a secure experience through features like friends-exclusive chat, live monitoring, and safety protocols adhering to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards. These protocols have been jointly developed with Roblox and Karta, specialists in immersive entertainment.
