Every Major Animated Series That Ended in 2025 So Far

2025 has been a challenging year for animation, with an equal number of exciting new series premiering and established ones wrapping up. Although we’re only a third of the way through this year, several significant shows have already concluded, and others have announced their upcoming finales. However, it’s important to note that even though these shows are ending, they can still be enjoyed if you happened to miss them during their initial broadcast.

Craig of the Creek (Ended January 25th)

Where to Watch: Hulu, Max

Craig of the Creek” marked the first significant finale for the year, and regrettably, it appears to be the most permanent on this list. This Cartoon Network series concluded after five seasons, spanning over seven years on air, and even managed to secure a feature film release prior to its termination. The series offers a particularly fulfilling conclusion, with the final episode encapsulating the significant progress Craig and his friends have made since the beginning, all while depicting an ordinary day at the creek. Now that it’s all compiled in one place, it’s definitely worth watching.

Jellystone! (Ended March 6th)

Where to Watch: Max

The animated series “Jellystone!” has concluded its journey with Max following three seasons on a streaming platform. It reimagined Hanna-Barbera’s timeless animated collection, updating these characters for the contemporary era. Although production has wrapped up, there remains a possibility of continuation. In an interview with ComicBook, creator C.H. Greenblatt hinted that the final season was “Final for now, but who knows?” He added, “We’re keeping our fingers crossed. Who knows? If there’s more, we’re prepared. Rest assured, we’re eager and ready to jump back into action as soon as possible.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur (Ended March 8th)

Where to Watch: Disney+

Unfortunately, “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” didn’t get to complete its second season as planned, leaving its viewers with a sense of anticipation tinged with sadness. Now that it has concluded prematurely, it presents an excellent opportunity for those who haven’t yet seen it to delve into this animated series and appreciate its distinctiveness. Despite the backing from fans, the show seemed to be abruptly halted, so revisiting it with fresh eyes might make its uniqueness shine even brighter.

Win or Lose (Ended March 12th)

Where to Watch: Disney+

Unlike other animated shows on the list, “Win or Lose” stands out as it was initially designed by Pixar Animation Studios as a miniseries rather than an ongoing series. This unique project aimed to explore an existing concept in a fresh manner, and succeeded in doing so by its conclusion. While it did spark some debate due to certain elements that were ultimately cut, “Win or Lose” managed to achieve its goals. Now that its final episode has been released, it’s the perfect moment to revisit the entire series from start to finish.

Tiny Toons Looniversity (Ended March 22nd)

Where to Watch: Max

The Tiny Toons Looniversity project was quite unexpected since it revived the beloved 90s cartoon series, Tiny Toon Adventures. This collaboration between Amblin Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation introduced a new generation to these iconic characters. However, with the arrival of spring, the second season of the series concluded its broadcast on the Max streaming platform, marking its end. Although it didn’t get officially cancelled, those involved in production seemed to have shifted their focus to other projects by the time these final episodes were released. Given that the Looney Tunes franchise could benefit from more fans, you might want to give this a watch.
