As a seasoned gamer with decades of Call of Duty under my belt, I can attest that the return of the traditional grind to Black Ops 6 has been both daunting and exhilarating. The prospect of climbing through multiple Prestige levels can be overwhelming for those of us who aren’t high-tier players. However, a recent discovery has made the journey much more manageable.

In Black Ops 6, Call of Duty reintroduced the conventional Prestige grind, implying a considerable amount of progression stages to conquer, and that’s merely up until reaching Prestige Master. Upon reaching this milestone, another 1,000 levels and corresponding rewards lie in wait for you. Consequently, you’ll need a substantial amount of experience points (XP).

As a researcher, I ponder over the rapid progression seen among top-tier players in our game. For them, amassing high scores during matches may not present much challenge. The resulting increased Experience Points (XP) allows for a swifter leveling up process. However, my curiosity is sparked by those who aren’t as skilled – the majority of us. How can we, too, expedite our progress and enjoy the game at an equally satisfying pace?

I’ve heard some YouTubers discussing an effective strategy for enhancing rewards in Call of Duty, so I decided to give it a try myself. Lo and behold, it seems to be quite successful!

Run Strategist and Dispatcher in Black Ops 6 multiplayer to get higher scores easier

A significant aspect involves the Strategist combat specialty, which grants extra points for tactical gameplay, and the Dispatcher skill that you will utilize to activate it.

As an analyst, I can confidently say that mastering the role of Strategist will significantly boost your scores in game modes such as Hardpoint, Domination, and Kill Confirmed. This is because you’ll earn extra points for capturing dog tags or securing zones. However, what truly sets this role apart is the Dispatcher ability. This feature streamlines the process of earning scorestreaks, particularly the UAV and Counter UAV, making them easier to obtain and use effectively in the heat of battle.

Here’s how it all works out.

  • Strategist increases points earned on objectives.
  • Dispatcher reduces the cost of scorestreaks.
  • UAV and Counter UAV scorestreaks generate passive scores every time a teammate gets an elimination while they’re active.
  • Rinse and repeat.
  • If you’re using the Perk Greed wildcard, you can also stack Bankroll alongside Dispatcher for even easier streaks.
  • Try using the Scrambler Field Upgrade for some additional passive points.

My preferred game mode for accumulating XP is Hardpoint on Nuketown. I love camping out at the control point because it quickly earns points toward scorestreaks. After activating a UAV and CUAV once, you can continue to hold the point while teammates finish off kills. Meanwhile, you’ll steadily accrue points for using these abilities again.

Of course, you will need to get kills, simply hitting objectives and popping streaks won’t get your score sky-high. Kills on objectives are worth more, and if you’re in Kill Confirmed, you’ll get bonus points with Strategist every time you pick up a red tag.

In simpler terms, Nuketown is ideal for achieving high kill counts because its compact size makes it easier to get kills. The image above shows a typical round of Hardpoint on Nuketown where I got 46 kills and finished fourth on my team’s scoreboard. This is a good number of kills, especially when you consider that you can boost your progress with Double XP tokens or events, leading to plenty of rewards.

Absolutely, you have the freedom to apply this technique on any map and across various game modes. However, for maximum benefit, it’s advisable to steer clear of Team Deathmatch. This advice holds true even if your goal is simply to have a more enjoyable gaming experience.

With the error causing reduced XP gains to be corrected, you can now progress consistently and level up in the game again. It will still take some time, but if you’re looking for an advantage, I strongly suggest testing out this loadout. So far, it has made my journey through Prestige 2 feel quicker compared to earlier tiers, so give it a try!
