Evil Dead: The Game is Being De-Listed From Digital Stores, Servers Will Remain Online

Even though support for the multiplayer game “Evil Dead: The Game” ended in 2023, Saber Interactive kept the servers active. Lately, some players have noticed that the game has been removed from digital marketplaces such as Epic Games Store and PlayStation Store, meaning it’s no longer available for purchase.

According to VGC’s report, Saber Interactive has announced that they have removed Evil Dead: The Game from various online marketplaces such as Steam. Yet, it appears their plans regarding server support for players who already own the game remain unaltered.

Saber Interactive announced that they’ve initiated taking down the game from various online marketplaces. However, those who already own the game can continue playing since Saber plans to maintain the servers for all players.

In September 2023, the company declared they were discontinuing support for “Evil Dead: The Game.” This means no fresh content will be produced for the game. However, they plan to keep the servers active. Unfortunately, they’ve also announced that the Nintendo Switch version of “Evil Dead: The Game” is not moving forward.

Initially launched back in May 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, the game titled “Evil Dead: The Game” experienced a successful start, with approximately half a million copies sold within its first five days. Unfortunately, plans for a Nintendo Switch version were scrapped.
