Having spent countless hours dissecting every branching dialogue choice in The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands, I’m thrilled to see AdHoc Studio carrying on that legacy.
AdHoc Studio, comprising ex-writers and directors from Telltale Games, has unveiled Dispatch: an amusing tale of a narrative adventure that revolves around managing the desk of a superhero team.
Drawing upon prior acclaim for cherished titles such as The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands, this upcoming game’s debut trailer promises an impressive start.
In this scenario, you take on the role of Robert Robertson, a former superhero known as Mecha Man. His signature armor was damaged beyond repair, thus concluding his heroic endeavors. Later, he finds employment in an office that coordinates a group of other extraordinary individuals.
The gameplay appears to be a blend of the interactive dialogue options found in Telltale-like games and intricate moments where you strategize to deploy the most suitable hero to tackle the dangers that emerge within the city.
It seems like you might require enhancing the abilities of your superheroes over time, making them more efficient during their missions.
This game’s mix of play mechanics is quite intriguing, not to mention its impressive roster of characters. Among them are actors like Aaron Paul, Jeffrey Wright, and Laura Bailey, as well as popular YouTubers such as MoistCr1TiKaL and Jacksepticeye.
Since the game is currently designed for both PCs and consoles, it doesn’t specifically include the PS5 at this point. However, we’re eagerly awaiting an announcement to clarify whether the PS5 will be part of the lineup.
