The detective series “The Madame Blanc Mysteries” on Channel 5 is coming back to our televisions shortly. Not only will we be re-entering the town of Sainte Victoire, but also encountering a fresh set of mysteries to solve, along with an impressive list of guest stars who will add excitement to the show.
This year, we’re excited to announce that our cherished crime drama is returning for its fourth season! Recently, we’ve unveiled the list of guests stars, many of whom are well-known figures in the realm of British television.
In the upcoming episodes, we’ll have a few familiar faces reappearing. Among them is Paul Chuckle, portraying Gloria’s father Trevor, along with Les Dennis, last seen during season 2, and Stephen Bailey, who graced our screens in season 3.
For the fourth season of The Madame Blanc Mysteries, several new faces have been added to the cast, including Samantha Power from Coronation Street, Charlie Condou known for Unforgotten, Richard Blackwood from EastEnders, Danny Hatchard starring in Our Girl, Graeme Hawley recognized by Finding Alice fans, Lorraine Burroughs of Sweetpea and Edward MacLiam who appeared on Cucumber.

Absolutely, The Madame Blanc Mysteries wouldn’t feel the same without Sally Lindsay portraying Jean White, but in this new season, Jean is expected to navigate a budding romance with her partner, Dom Hayes, who is played by Steve Edge.
Regarding the unveiling of the new cast, Lindsay expressed her immense pride, stating that once more, Ste. Victoire has managed to gather an array of exceptionally talented guest stars. She was left awestruck by the way their skill elevated our scripts to new heights.
We’re thrilled to welcome back some familiar faces, our cherished semi-regulars! Join us under the sunshine and have a blast with your regular companions. Excitingly, we introduce fresh characters for you to meet. Catch up on the latest happenings of our long-term residents and unravel six brand-new mysteries alongside Jean.
For the remaining cast members in season 4, we have Sue Vincent from Mount Pleasant playing mechanic Gloria Beaushaw, Robin Askwith known for Strike, and Sue Holderness famous for Only Fools and Horses portraying Jeremy and Judith Lloyd James respectively. Alex Gaumond, a familiar face from Derry Girls, steps into the role of Chief of Police André Caron, while Tony Robinson takes on the part of Dom’s Uncle Patrick.
Lindsay shared: “The show begins with two lively 75-year-olds zooming along on jet skis over the Mediterranean Sea, only to discover a deceased person. Frankly, I can’t recall ever witnessing such a scene on television. I certainly hope I haven’t.
In addition, my spouse has creatively recreated a Hawaii Five-0 spinoff of it. Therefore, I encourage everyone to begin with this.
However, I must say that the edits turned out exceptionally well. We have an incredible cast, our talented friends among them, so yes, I am extremely proud of the end result.
It appears that Lindsay’s spouse, Steve White, is a musician and drummer who penned the main theme of the show, titled “Passing Through.” Consequently, it seems we can anticipate some musically appropriate accompaniments along with the show.
