In February, an additional month brings even more games to Xbox Game Pass. Subscribers of both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass have much to anticipate, as Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming role-playing game Avowed is scheduled for release on Feb 18, 2025. Additionally, Madden NFL 25 will also join the service, thanks to EA Play.
In the meantime, Standard members are now gaining access to Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield and the unexpectedly tough game titled Another Crab’s Treasure. Here is a rundown of upcoming games for the following weeks:

A lighter start with a couple of standouts
Although the number of new games this time isn’t as high as previously, the introduction of Avowed by Obsidian Entertainment is undeniably significant. This role-playing game marks the start of a wave of Xbox first-party games in 2025, with South of Midnight from Compulsion Games following closely (look out for further updates on February 11), along with DOOM: The Dark Ages by id Software and others.
It’s also pleasing to notice that Starfield has been upgraded to the Standard tier. As for when first-party games will become available for Standard subscribers on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, there seems to be no clear pattern. However, let’s hope this move suggests that other anticipated titles like Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 won’t take too long to follow suit.
