Exclusive Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC Now Available for Everyone

As a seasoned Dragon Ball gamer with countless hours spent in the universe of this iconic franchise, I can’t help but feel a mix of relief and amusement at the latest developments in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Relief because finally, the elusive V-Jump aura is now available for purchase without resorting to digital workarounds, and amusement because it seems like we’ll soon see an influx of players sporting this not-so-unique aura in our matches.

In the game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, players have access to DLC packs, which mainly include cosmetic and non-combat related items as they haven’t released any new characters yet through the season pass. Most of these DLCs can be bought online directly, but a few have been hard to come by since launch, causing frustration for some players. One such DLC is an exclusive aura that was originally only available to Japanese V-Jump magazine readers who found ways to obtain it in the West. Fortunately, this elusive DLC is now available for purchase without resorting to any workarounds.

For those not familiar, the V-Jump aura was a unique ability applied to specific characters, often Saiyans. Instead of the standard aura all characters share, the V-Jump aura had a distinct “V” shape when the characters were boosting their ki. The color of this aura varied depending on the character’s appearance.

This DLC is unique as it’s the only one that allows altering the auras of characters in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, and there’s no other way to do this. However, obtaining the V-Jump aura wasn’t straightforward. You needed to find workarounds such as purchasing credits on certain websites, which would allow you to buy digital copies of V-Jump. These codes could then be used across various platforms to unlock the aura. While it wasn’t overly difficult, it was definitely more complex than simply buying it from a store.

Great news for all Dragon Ball fans like myself! You can now grab the “Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Victory Pack” DLC from the Xbox and PlayStation store pages of the game. It’s being sold for an affordable $0.99, which is a first for this pack. For those who previously acquired it through V-Jump issues, my apologies, but get ready to see many more players sporting the now less exclusive aura in “Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero”.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve just noticed another DLC for Dragon Ball titled “Sparking! Zero” has hit the shelves, although it might not be as thrilling as the Aura DLC we were all eagerly anticipating. Interestingly, before the main game dropped, there was talk of a “Martial Arts Pack” DLC floating around online, but it never made it to the digital stores. However, it’s finally here! The catch is that it only includes three characters – alternate versions of Gohan and Bardock – which can be unlocked through regular gameplay progression. If for some reason you don’t have these fighters yet, you can purchase them for a mere $0.99 as well.

It appears that the DLCs aren’t accessible on the Steam store for PC players at the moment. However, considering that the aura was previously redeemable on Steam even though it was only distributed through V-Jump, and the Martial Arts Pack DLC was found on Steam initially, it’s likely that they will become available there as well in due course. For now, these Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero DLCs are exclusive to the Xbox and PlayStation stores.
