The popular manga series “My Hero Academia” is set to return with significant events throughout the remainder of the year, and the original creator has prepared exclusive artwork featuring Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo in anticipation of these upcoming milestones. Although the manga concluded its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine last Summer, the franchise is gearing up for a fresh round of festivities that will culminate in the eighth and final season of the TV anime series this Fall.
The popular anime series “My Hero Academia” is wrapping up its TV season later this year, but the franchise isn’t ending there. Instead, it’s making a comeback with a special art exhibition in Japan right now. This exhibition features artwork from the series creator Kohei Horikoshi, including some never-before-seen sketches and pieces.
Additionally, “My Hero Academia” is collaborating with Men’s Non-no magazine in Japan, and to mark this occasion, Horikoshi has shared some exciting new art featuring Deku and Bakugo. You can see it below.
My Hero Academia Creator Shares New Deku and Bakugo Art
The creator of ‘My Hero Academia’ has teamed up with Men’s Non-no magazine for a unique collaboration, offering exclusive illustrations featuring Deku and Bakugo in stylish attire. These artworks will be distributed as collectible items for fans in Japan. Horikoshi commented on the artwork: “I envisioned them in casual clothing, depicting Deku as a middle schooler in American casual wear and Bakugo as a local tough guy. For this collaboration, I focused on using colors that are distinct to both characters while maintaining the Men’s Non-no aesthetic with an enlarged silhouette.
In addition to the ongoing “My Hero Academia” exhibition in Japan, enthusiasts of the series have plenty to anticipate. The creator, Horikoshi, has been revisiting the series a year after its conclusion and has enriched the ending with an assortment of fresh content that fans have longed for. The creator is back with a plethora of unique sketches, and since the anime will resume with new episodes later this year, there’s bound to be even more of these characters appearing on our screens.
