The existential platformer game, named PEPPERED, is set to debut on PC through Steam on April 7th, as confirmed by its creators, Mostly Games.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
PEPPERED is a 2D platform game predominantly focused on narrative elements. It seeks to challenge common gaming conventions in order to narrate a tale about the challenges of everyday existence, exploring themes such as accountability, the impact of our actions, comforting self-deceptions, and the odd sensation of being a mere observer in one’s own life. It also reminds us that if we don’t take action to save the world, it may never be saved.
Story
In the final moments before the divine return of Death, you assume the role of a nameless inhabitant in a timeless realm. Fate offers you a chance to seize control of your destiny. However, it also provides numerous paths for a disastrous outcome.
