F1 25 Gets New Trailer Showcasing Visual Upgrades and Customisation Options

EA has unveiled a fresh trailer for its upcoming racing title F1 25. The video spotlight highlights the authenticity achieved by the publishers in collaboration with developer Codemasters, as well as the array of customization options players can expect to utilize.

In terms of authenticity and lifelike quality, F1 25 takes realism to an unprecedented degree thanks to innovative methods employed by developers for superior visual accuracy. As the trailer reveals, LiDAR technology (light detection and ranging scanning) was applied to numerous well-known F1 tracks globally. This allows the game to meticulously depict even the smallest details on each track.

By utilizing LiDAR, the quality of the track visuals has significantly enhanced, as detailed by the trailer. This technology was instrumental in refining the vegetation around the tracks as well. As a result, the studio incorporated additional details such as cherry blossom trees in the Suzuka track.

On PCs capable of supporting path tracing, the graphics in F1 25 are significantly enhanced, resulting in even more lifelike visuals. If a PC has the necessary power, F1 25 will simulate how light behaves in reality, making the game even more immersive.

The sound quality of audio has been enhanced significantly. In this game, you’ll encounter a vast array of voice recordings from actual Formula One drivers and other F1 professionals such as engineers and pit crew members. The radio chatter you hear will change based on your performance within the game. Moreover, renowned F1 broadcaster Naomi Schiff and commentator Alex Jacques will also contribute their voices to the game.

In F1 25, customization plays a significant role, featuring pre-made liveries inspired by the branding of fictional companies that sponsor within the game’s career mode. These liveries align well with actual F1 car liveries and have been crafted to be as authentic as possible.

In the My Team mode, the game encourages players to collaborate with sponsors by offering additional sponsor spaces and allowing them to customize more sponsor logos on their vehicles, thereby increasing their earnings.

Back in March, the F1 25 game was introduced. This game, set to launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, will retail for $59.99 for the standard version. Additionally, there will be an Iconic Edition available for $79.99, offering purchasers a variety of in-game bonuses and early access to the game starting three days before its May 30 release date.

Last month, a trailer unveiled additional information about the game, such as the return of the Braking Point storyline. This time, the narrative centers around Konnersport’s quest for the World Championship. Moreover, the mode will offer different difficulty levels catering to players who are more interested in the story rather than the gameplay.
