Fairgame$ Has Been Internally Delayed to 2026 – Rumor

As a devoted PlayStation enthusiast, I must admit that Sony’s latest State of Play event sparked a range of reactions among the gaming community, with many fans expressing disappointment about the relatively scarce appearances of titles from PlayStation Studios, aside from Housemarque’s Saros. However, what left me particularly curious was the absence of any new information regarding Fairgame$, the cooperative heist game unveiled in May 2023 by Haven Studios. Since then, there has been no update on this exciting title, aside from a job listing.

It appears there won’t be a shadow drop of the game this year. In a recent Game Mess Decides discussion, Jeff Grubb from Giant Bomb shared that “Fairgame$” won’t release this year; according to his knowledge, it has been delayed until 2026.

It appears that the significant collapse of Concord may have caused Sony to reevaluate their live service strategies and ultimately scrap projects from both Bend Studio and Bluepoint Games. It seems they might be spending extra time perfecting things for a top-notch user experience, possibly involving some changes or updates. Therefore, it could take some time before we can actually play these games.

In the game Fairgame$, players take on the role of thieves who break into off-limits locations across the globe to snatch valuable items. Uncovering the schemes of billionaires is another aspect, with the gameplay emphasizing player-versus-player action within an evolving sandbox environment. The developers are now working on versions for PS5 and PC, so keep an eye out for future announcements.
