As a huge fan of both Star Wars and Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, I couldn’t be more excited about this latest crossover between the two beloved franchises! The addition of Han Solo and Boba Fett skins earlier in May the 4th was a delightful surprise, but today’s cinematic trailer really took things to another level.
On May 4th celebration, Mediatonic, the creators of Fall Guys, introduced Star Wars-themed skins including Han Solo and Boba Fett. However, it seems the collaboration isn’t over yet. Today, the Fall Guys team unveiled a cinematic trailer showcasing four upcoming Star Wars skins. The initial release featured characters from the original trilogy, but the upcoming drop later this month will include skins of prequel-era characters such as Yoda, R2-D2, Queen Padme Amidala, and Darth Maul.
In the recently released trailer (viewable above), fans are treated to a detailed preview of the four Star Wars characters set to join the game on July 30th. It’s important to mention that accessing these characters isn’t something you can earn through gameplay. Instead, an in-game purchase is required to add them to your collection. This shouldn’t come as a shock, considering Mediatonic and Epic Games didn’t secure this collaboration at no cost.
Additionally, the previous package contained various Star Wars-inspired cosmetics such as the Sarlacc Pit and Carbon Freezing Chamber. However, these items weren’t showcased in the latest trailer. Mediatonic may be saving these reveals for the launch of the new bundle on July 30th. The trailer suggests a few emotes, but we’ll have to wait and find out what other surprises Fall Guys has in store.
As a long-time gamer with a soft spot for quirky and fun multiplayer games, I’m beyond excited about the recent announcement that “Fall Guys” is making its way into “Fortnite.” Having followed the development of this wacky obstacle course game since its release last year, I’ve grown fond of its colorful cast of characters and addictive mini-games.
As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share that “Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout” is now live on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC platforms! Don’t forget, the Star Wars collaboration with characters like Yoda, R2-D2, Padme Amidala, and Darth Maul is just around the corner, set to debut on July 30th. Unfortunately, I can’t disclose the exact cost for unlocking these iconic skins yet, but a previous in-game event required approximately $20 from players to obtain both bundles.
