I was bummed out when Bethesda dropped the bombshell about the Fallout 4 next-gen update delaying the mod’s release date, but Team FOLON’s partnership with GOG has put us back on track.
Recently, Fallout: London has faced some challenges. Originally, the team behind the project, Team FOLON, planned to release their mods in alignment with St. George’s Day. However, Bethesda unexpectedly launched the next-gen update for Fallout 4, which inadvertently delayed the mods’ release date. Despite this setback, Team FOLON is pleased to announce that they are now in the final stages of completion.
We’ve carefully considered the issue and haven’t set a definite release date yet. With the Fallout TV series receiving multiple Emmy nominations lately, there’s been a lot of buzz around the franchise. Although an update has delayed things, the anticipated excitement surrounding the IP is sure to make a difference.

With their help, we could finally reach the finish line and bring our game to the masses. It’s a long-awaited milestone that would make all the hard work worth it.
When is the Fallout: London release date?
The launch of Fallout: London was postponed after the unveiling of Fallout 4’s next-generation upgrade. However, its availability could be just around the corner since it has been given the green light by GOG and reportedly entered the final phase of production.

Team FOLON has decided to collaborate with GOG to create a launcher that restores Fallout 4 to its earlier version following the next-gen update. This option is suitable for Steam users, but it’s not compatible with copies obtained from the Epic Games Store.
The original planned release date for Fallout: London was April 23, 2024. This was chosen to align with St. George’s Day, which marks the beginning of the mod. After encountering a few postponements, the game was scheduled for launch during this timeframe.

What is the Fallout: London DLC mod?
Prepare to express gratitude towards some incredibly skilled game modifiers. They are the individuals responsible for making this possible for us. As a bonus, since this is a modification of an already existing game, there will be no cost to play.
In London, this Fallout 4 expansion is referred to as having “DLC-level” expansion, even though London won’t be as extensive as we’re used to, it will still offer a substantial experience. The creators have hinted that its size will be comparable to the Commonwealth map in the base game.

As I roam through the ruins of the once bustling city, prepare yourself for an intriguing cast of characters you’ll encounter on this journey. However, let me remind you to stay cautious when engaging with others – the aftermath of a nuclear disaster is a treacherous world teeming with deceit and betrayal.
As a movie reviewer, I’d say this: “When the developers chose London as the backdrop for their game, they opened up a world that sets it apart from the familiar terrain of Fallout. For me, exploring the streets of this historic city feels like an entirely new experience.”
In the primary games, the vaults were predominantly constructed in America. As a result, other countries may not be acquainted with the specific kind of vaults we’re used to. (Or, Other countries haven’t built vaults like those in the main games, which were primarily located in America.)
In simpler terms, you won’t encounter “Super Mutants,” “Centaurs,” or “Deathclaws” frequently, and the number of “Psykers” is expected to be smaller than previous experiences.
“Vault-Tec is entirely an American company, thus it will have no presence in London.”
The developers have mentioned that by visiting completely unfamiliar environments, we gain the opportunity to discover unique and unassimilated cultures distinct from those in America.
