Family Guy Is Coming to Comedy Central

As a longtime fan who’s grown up with the Griffin family, this news about Family Guy coming to Comedy Central is music to my ears! I remember staying up late as a kid to catch those reruns, and now they’re going to be a regular part of my primetime lineup. I can hardly contain my excitement!

Beginning on Labor Day, the popular animated series “Family Guy” is moving to Comedy Central. Known for its long-running success, “Family Guy” is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The show airs weekly on FOX, and its reruns are shown on networks like FX and FXX. However, a new licensing deal between Disney and Paramount means that Comedy Central will now be broadcasting the series as well. This agreement grants Comedy Central access to the extensive library of “Family Guy” episodes, and they’ll commence with a marathon in September.

Starting Monday, September 2nd (Labor Day), Family Guy will commence airing on Comedy Central with a full day of classic episodes in a special marathon. This marathon leads up to its integration into Comedy Central’s prime-time schedule starting Tuesday, September 3rd. We are thrilled to announce that Family Guy is joining Comedy Central, joining the ranks of top adult animation including South Park, Futurama, and Beavis and Butt-Head, among others, according to Laurel Weir, Executive Vice President and Head of Programming at SHOWTIME/MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount Media Networks. How to Watch Family Guy

In 2025, it’s been confirmed that Season 23 of “Family Guy” will air on Fox. However, a specific release date and episode count have not yet been announced. As for the content of the upcoming episodes, here’s a sneak peek: Peter struggles with his inability to throw a ball; Meg begins dating the son of the giant chicken, and Chris loses an earring during a “Lord of the Rings”-inspired adventure. Stewie learns that his stuffed bear Rupert was made in China, prompting him to embark on a journey to locate his bear’s family. The new season will also satirize “The White Lotus,” with the Griffin family vacationing at a luxury resort where Stewie suspects his new wealthy friends may plan to sacrifice him in a volcano.

At present, you have the opportunity to watch the first 22 seasons of the currently streaming animated series on Hulu. Additionally, starting this September, you’ll be able to revisit the classic episodes of the series on Comedy Central, along with reruns of other popular classic animated shows such as Futurama, South Park, and others.
