Even though “The Voice” hasn’t officially concluded its 27th season on the 2025 television schedule following a night of live semifinal performances, we’re already peeking ahead to the next season. That’s because NBC’s competition show has revealed which three popular musicians will join Snoop Dogg when “The Voice” comes back in the fall for Season 28. Three experienced coaches will be seated alongside the West Coast rapper, and fans appear particularly excited about one coach’s return.
Snoop Dogg’s return to The Voice for a second season was previously confirmed by NBC, and he’ll have his work cut out for him in Season 28, as the other three returning coaches all have wins under their belt. Reba McEntire will take her place atop her throne next to Niall Horan and Michael Bublé. You can see the official Instagram announcement below:

Instead of anticipating that fans would be particularly thrilled about Snoop Dogg not being a one-time coach or the return of Queen Reba McEntire, it was actually Niall Horan who received the majority of the social media accolades. Remarks on The Voice’s social media post were filled with:
- TEAM NIALL IS BACK AND LET’S WIN THIS AGAIN 🥰 – niallxupdates
- Niall baby TEAM NIALL ALL THE WAY – babygirllex22
- Team Niall 3peat incoming – stevenmbeck
- Yessss finally Niall is back!!! – toddyb07
- y’all already know Team Niall is going to step up and show out 🕺 – niallhflorals
- All the back for Niall! 3rd straight win please? 🙂 🙏 – toriantgalvez
- TEAM NIALL SLAY FOR A THIRD SEASON YOU BET!!!! – anamariasari
Carson Daly’s enthusiasm was palpable as he eagerly anticipated having “Blake Shelton’s child” back on the program, expressing his sentiments openly.
My guy Niall Horan is back! And so it our 💰⛳️games LFG!
Though the host seems to be thinking a lot about wealth, some people believe he’s emulating Snoop Dogg in this regard, yet it’s quite apparent from other viewers’ comments that they are mainly captivated by Niall Horan’s winning spree.
The former member of One Direction finds himself in a unique situation, regaining his spot among the coaches on “The Voice,” since he’s the only coach to have won every season he’s participated in (seasons 23 and 24).

If Michael Bublé wins this current season, it would mean that he has gone unbeaten in two seasons in a row. This raises the question if we might witness a matchup between two unbeaten coaches in the future.
I am thrilled about the coaching lineup for Season 28 of “The Voice.” The combination of Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg promises to be entertaining, while Michael Bublé has long been a favorite of mine from recent seasons. However, I can’t help but feel a bit disheartened that Adam Levine is departing so quickly again. It was wonderful having the original coach back, and I hope it won’t be another ten seasons before we see him return.
First, let’s complete Season 27 of “The Voice”. The show will announce its finalists live on NBC at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, Tuesday, May 13th. Then, the live finale begins at 8 p.m. ET next Monday, May 19th. If you miss an episode, you can stream it the following day with a Peacock subscription.
