Although he didn’t specify an exact timeframe, Berger assured us that the story will continue and fans can look forward to more episodes in the future.

Crunchyroll Says More Solo Leveling ‘Will Be Here’ for Anime Fans in New Update

The confirmation that the anime series will eventually be available on a streaming platform brings joy to its fans, who have been closely watching the just-concluded Season 2 over the past year. Berger described the show as exceptionally good, stating that it not only caters to existing fans but also attracts new ones, creating a cycle of content growth over the last few years. While anime has traditionally been considered counterculture and niche, it has increasingly become mainstream in many aspects.

In partnership with the Japanese entertainment company Aniplex, which is under the umbrella of Sony Group Corporation, and the producer of the series “Solo Leveling”; Aniplex was also responsible for distributing “Demon Slayer” in Japan, while Aniplex of America handled its distribution outside of Japan. Berger attributed both “Solo Leveling” and “Demon Slayer” as significant contributors to a growing global anime fanbase, particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic. As people had more time during the pandemic, they found solace in anime, leading to an increase in the fanbase post-pandemic, according to Berger.

Crunchyroll recently disclosed that it now boasts 17 million subscribers globally. However, according to Berger, there is still significant potential for growth, particularly in Southeast Asia and Latin America. As Berger pointed out, “There are nearly a billion people worldwide who are drawn to anime.” He further emphasized that India presents a significant opportunity, while Southeast Asia offers room for expansion due to a growing demand for anime content. He also highlighted the rich history of anime in Latin America, stating that Crunchyroll aims to capitalize on this interest by continually providing fresh content.

You can stream Seasons 1 and 2 of the series called “Solo Leveling” on Crunchyroll. Currently, there’s no confirmed release date for Season 3 yet. Aniplex producer Sota Furuhashi hinted that if he had the decision, he would wait until after the next Olympics to announce any news about Season 3.
