It appears that Ubisoft is persistent in elevating its Far Cry series on PlayStation 5, as they’ve recently launched an update for one of the earlier games within the franchise.
In simpler terms, the most recent edition of Far Cry 4 now has an upgrade. As of today, the PlayStation 5 version of the game can run at 60 frames per second when you play it on a PS5 console.
The game update, version 1.08, is available to download and install now.
Once more, it’s apparent that Ubisoft is striving to optimize their major titles for current-generation gaming hardware. Prior to Far Cry 4, they have rolled out similar updates for games such as Far Cry 5 and Far Cry: New Dawn, The Crew 2, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed Origins, and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
It’s likely that other games from the same publisher will also receive excellent post-launch support, helping to further establish their reputation.
