Giants Software has unveiled plans to bring the popular game Farming Simulator into the world of Virtual Reality (VR). This exciting new addition to the series, named Farming Simulator VR, was recently announced and a trailer for it can be found below. The immersive farming experience offered by Farming Simulator VR is set to launch on Meta Quest headsets starting from February 28.
The trailer presents an apparent immersion into the entire virtual reality Farming Simulator experience. From trivial chores such as maintaining and repairing machinery, to intricate jobs like collecting crops for sale or refueling your tractor to enhance field cultivation.
Just as with our traditional games, Farming Simulator VR includes farming equipment from brands such as Case IH, CHALLENGER, John Deere, and Fendt, giving players a genuine feel of the game’s content.
Apart from the main farm, players will also get a greenhouse where they can grow vegetables such as eggplants and tomatoes.
Without a definitive announcement regarding whether “Farming Simulator VR” will be released on SteamVR or PlayStation VR2, it has been confirmed by Giants Software that the game will be playable on Meta Quest 2, 3, 3S, and Pro.
