As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of nostalgia upon hearing about the return of Gato in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. This game takes me back to my childhood, where I would spend countless hours honing my skills as a fighter in the original Fatal Fury games.
SNK recently unveiled a fresh trailer for the game titled “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves“. This trailer showcases the playable character, Gato, who is voiced by Cory Yee in English and Yuma Yamaguchi in Japanese.
Here is his character description, via SNK:
In the game “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves,” a character named Gato – who lost his sight in a brutal attack by his father during a past tournament – is set to make a comeback as a playable character. Although he’s regained most of his vision since the attack, he finds that his limited sight restricts his speed. As a result, Gato decides to fight solely in darkness. Spurred on by news of the King of Fighters tournament, Gato seeks revenge against his father, determined to finally settle their score on the battlefield.
In early 2025, the game titled “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves” will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and both Steam and Epic Games Store for PC.
