Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Adds Street Fighter’s Ken and Chun-Li in 2025

As a seasoned gamer with decades of fighting game experience under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves! The addition of Ken and Chun-Li to the roster is a dream come true, as these iconic Street Fighter characters will undoubtedly bring a fresh dynamic to the classic Fatal Fury gameplay.

As Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury series joins Street Fighter 6, and Mai Shiranui is on her way, it’s only fair that Capcom’s fighters step into an SNK game. A fresh trailer for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has confirmed that Ken and Chun-Li will be added as DLC characters in Season Pass 1.

Although SNK hasn’t unveiled Ken’s or Chun-Li’s in-game appearances yet, they have announced that Ken will be playable starting summer 2025, and Chun-Li will follow in winter 2025. It might seem like a large gap between characters, but keep in mind that additional DLC fighters are expected to join the roster next summer and fall. The first season pass concludes with the arrival of its fifth character on the roster in early 2026.

Indeed, it’s just the beginning of the journey for this fighter, as SNK has announced that they will be providing DLC for a period of three years post-launch. The game, titled “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves,” is set to release on April 24th, 2025, and can be played on Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. At this time, only the Special Edition is available for purchase at a price of $59.99, which includes the Season Pass. Those who pre-order will receive early access to the game, three days prior to its official release.
