We have the details on the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves full roster!
SNK’s latest instalment of the FF franchise is set to release on April 24th this year.
But is 17 characters for base rosters plus who we know inbound via DLC what makes it worth the buy?
City Of Wolves Full Roster
To start, yes, that’s correct. Secondly, while 2XKO features tag team fighting, Fighting Freak (FF) is designed for one-on-one combat only. Furthermore, SNK, the creators of this game, have promised to introduce a new fighter every two months!
The team intends to incorporate most of the classic characters from the Fatal Fury series. Without a doubt, Geese will be among those included in the City of Wolves’ complete lineup.

As a diehard fan, I can’t help but get excited about who’s joining our game through the Season 1 DLC! It’s Andy Bogard, Ken, Joe Higashi, Chun Li, and none other than Mr. Big from Art of Fighting, not Hank Hill as some might mistakenly assume.
You may have noticed a few SF6 names, of course, given how Terry and Mai ended up over there too.
Speaking of the entire Wolf team, here are its members: Rock, Terry, Jenet, Marco, Preecha, Hotaru, Reaper, Tizoc, Kevin, Billy, Mai, Kim, Gato, Cain, Ronaldo, Ganacci, and the newcomer Hokuto Maru.
SNK has unveiled the trailer for Hokutu Maru, and he appears just as impressive as ever. What makes it even more exciting is that instead of introducing an unfamiliar character from reality, they’ve opted to bring back someone straight from the game series!
To be frank, aside from the clear newcomers, the team lineup seems quite strong. Additionally, it’s exciting to hear that lane stages have made a return!

If you’re new to the world of Fatal Fury, earlier versions of the game featured stages with dual pathways that allowed characters to move between them. This design aspect contributes to more engaging battles as it introduces an element of strategy, allowing players to exploit unique lane-based combinations for each stage.
City Of Real Dudes
Given that the City of Wolves has a complete team, are you planning to get a copy of it this month? As I see it, many dissatisfied Tekken fans might decide to make the change, and so will a large number of people from Mexico.

As a gamer, I’d say if you’re pondering whether Fatal Fury is tough to grasp, fear not! It’s surprisingly easy to pick up, especially if you’ve dabbled in any 2D fighting games before. Your skills from those should transfer seamlessly. However, for those who find Tekken 8 Season 2 a bit more challenging due to its 3D gameplay, Fatal Fury might present a steeper learning curve because of the differences between 2D and 3D combat systems.
As a dedicated fan, I don’t believe it takes much time to grasp either platform. A quick glance at combo videos and understanding the mechanics will set you up nicely. On the SNK website itself, they offer a wealth of guides and tutorial videos to help you adapt to all their new systems.
Among the diverse cast of characters in the Wolves’ roster, there’s definitely one to suit any preferred gameplay style. However, I find myself gravitating towards the reliable choice of Ken when he makes his appearance.
If you’re intrigued, head over to their site to explore the game and see if it catches your gaming style. Or better yet, grab the original games and Mark of the Wolves at a discounted price during the sale. This will give you a taste of the franchise and help you immerse yourself in its world.
