Next month marks the start of an open beta for SNK’s game titled “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.” This testing phase begins at midnight PT on February 20th and concludes at 11:59 PM PT on February 24th, spanning across Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC platforms.
In total, there will be eight characters that you can play as, split across three different modes: Ranked Matches, Casual Matches, and Room Matches (all online). Additionally, an offline Training mode is included. Although the specific characters haven’t been revealed yet, players are free to tinker with the new REV System and various control schemes – Arcade for a traditional feel or Smart for easy-to-use single-button combos and actions.
Similar to numerous other beta versions from past times, online gameplay will not necessitate a PlayStation Plus or Game Pass Core subscription. Keep an eye out for further updates as we approach the launch date.
The game titled “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves” will be released on April 24th. This is a continuation of “Garou: Mark of the Wolves,” and it brings back popular characters such as Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Gato, and others, while also introducing fresh faces like Preecha and Vox Reaper. After its launch, it will offer two characters from “Street Fighter” – Ken and Chun-Li, as downloadable content.
