As a lifelong fan of SNK and the Fatal Fury series, I must say, the latest addition to our roster, Hotaru Futaba, has truly captured my heart! Having grown up watching these warriors clash on the battlefield, it’s a dream come true to see her leap into action in all her 3D glory.
In the case of SNK, they’ve been showcasing character reveals for “Fatal Fury: City of Wolves,” but lately, they’ve been highlighting fighters that have already been announced. Following Rock Howard and Terry Bogard, it’s now time for Hotaru Futaba to take center stage. Here are some of her moves you might want to check out.
Hotaru employs Chinese martial arts and excels at channeling energy for powerful strikes, such as the high kick known as Kobi-Kyaku. She can also unleash this energy against foes, exemplified by her close-range attack, Hakki-Shou. Apart from being swift in combat, Hotaru benefits from the latest REV system, adding an extra boost to her signature move Shoshou Shin.
As a long-time fan of fighting games and anime, I must say that the new trailer for “Tenshou Ranki” has me absolutely thrilled! What really gets me is seeing this iconic character finally brought to life in stunning 3D graphics. It’s been a long time coming, but it’s definitely worth the wait.
