Another tragic detail has been revealed amid Hannah Kobayashi’s disappearance. 

Two days following the heart-wrenching disappearance of the beloved Hawaiian woman, I eagerly awaited news about her father, Ryan Kobayashi. Tragically, he was found dead after a harrowing fall from a parking structure near Los Angeles International Airport. Now, the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner has officially revealed the circumstances surrounding his untimely demise.

According to the medical examiner’s findings, it is confirmed that Ryan took his own life. Tragically, he sustained fatal blunt force injuries in the parking lot of LAX and passed away at the age of 58.

Ryan’s tragic demise occurs while Hannah’s disappearance case remains unsolved, and he had traveled to Los Angeles to aid in the hunt for his missing child.

Ryan expressed to NBC4 News at a Nov. 21 vigil close to Crypto.com Arena, “This is every parent’s worst fear.” He continued, “We are utterly lost and confused. It’s as if we’re just one tiny particle amidst the vastness of the ocean.

After Ryan’s passing, the Kobayashi family, using a charitable organization facilitating the hunt for Hannah, released a statement verifying his demise and stressing the significance of continuing the search for the 31-year-old individual.

Hannah STILL HASN’T BEEN FOUND and it’s feared she could be in immediate danger,” the family stated. “It’s essential for everyone to stay alert in their attempts to find Hannah. After a grueling 13-day search across Los Angeles, Hannah’s father, Ryan Kobayashi, sadly committed suicide. This devastating loss has significantly increased the family’s pain.

“It was emphasized that what the family requires the most during these challenging times is for everyone in their community to come together and offer them support, empathy, and prayers.

On November 11, Hannah was last seen following her flight to Los Angeles as part of her journey to New York. She was intending to work on a photography project, meet relatives, and attend a concert in the city.

After landing at LAX on November 8th from Hawaii, Hannah unfortunately missed her subsequent flight to the East Coast. Her family later informed TopMob News that she ended up spending the weekend discovering Los Angeles instead.

During this period, it was mentioned by Hannah’s aunt, Larie Pidgeon, to KITV, that Hannah started behaving unusually, sharing with friends and relatives about experiencing a “deeply profound spiritual transformation,” and voicing fears about her personal belongings or identity being taken.

On November 11, Hannah’s aunt observed that her phone last signaled at LAX, and her relatives informed NBC4 that they spotted Hannah on surveillance cameras close to the Crypto.com Arena on November 18, accompanied by an unknown individual.

The LAPD previously confirmed to TopMob News there is an ongoing investigation for Hannah.
