After unveiling a fresh gameplay trailer and release schedule for FBC: Firebreak, Remedy Entertainment has shared additional insights regarding the main gameplay mechanics. As per game director Mike Kayatta, players will assume roles designated as Jobs, traversing diverse settings within The Oldest House.

In the Executive Realm, one task entails disposing of adhesive notes (while confronting a character named Sticky Ricky), but another role requires transferring mannequin ski teachers to an otherworldly gondola lift.

Players have the option to choose from Crisis Kits, which are pre-set loadouts featuring various tools. For instance, the Crank-Operated Fluidic Ejector helps in slowing down foes and cleaning up allies. On the other hand, the Electro-Kinetic Charge Impactor serves a role similar to Unreal Tournament’s Impact Hammer, but deals electrical damage instead. The Big Wrench can be used to hit enemies, yet it also enables turret construction.
