FC 25 Career Mode: The best new features confirmed

As a devoted cinema of soccer video games, I have been eagerly anticipating the release of EA FC 25 with bated breath. The hype surrounding this year’s iteration has only grown since the announcement of its new features, and I am thrilled to share my thoughts as someone who has spent countless hours immersed in the virtual football world.

The first game of EA’s rebranded football sim is nearing its end.

The renaming of FIFA to EA FC didn’t affect the superb virtual experience at all, as it continued to offer remarkable gameplay and an entire year filled with promotions for Ultimate Team.

Now, things go back to normal. We’ll say farewell to FC 24 soon, as the following entry is scheduled for September 20, 2024.

Along with the date, we now know quite a lot about EA FC 25.

Based on my own experiences with the Football Club (FC) series and having closely followed the developments leading up to FC 25, I’m thrilled to share some exciting updates with fellow fans. Given my deep-rooted affection for this game, I can’t help but wonder: will cherished elements make a comeback? Are there innovative new features that promise to keep us engaged and entertained? Let’s delve into the confirmed features of FC 25 that have piqued my interest.

What do we know about FC 25 Career Mode?

Due to the significant revelation made on the 17th of July, we have obtained valuable information concerning the upcoming enhancements in FC 25.

What was on the minds of many gamers, especially the dedicated fans, was the query about how Career Mode would be altered in the upcoming version of the game.

As a devoted cinema enthusiast, I’ve noticed a lot of chatter online about potential changes to certain aspects of a beloved title. Some speculation suggests that these elements may no longer be part of it in the future.

Now that we’ve learned the details, we’re aware of the significant modifications coming to Career Mode.

Let’s take a look.

FC 25 Career Mode: The best new features confirmed

Career Mode will be getting quite the rejig for FC 24.

Indeed, this marks a significant shift in the way things have been done for quite some time. It’s refreshing to observe such focus on this aspect, given that Ultimate Team has dominated the scene for an extended period.

So, what are the changes? Let’s take a look.

Rush Mode

In Career Mode, there’s a fresh option called Rush for five-a-side games. If you’d like to switch things up and experience a smaller-scaled version of football, give it a try!

In addition to Rush, this feature is offered in Kick Off, Clubs, and Ultimate Team versions of Football Club 25. Explore the latest features of FC 25 in detail by checking out our comprehensive guide.

Women’s football

As a movie buff, I’d put it this way: In previous Football Club (FC) versions, the women’s game wasn’t an option in Career Mode – it was just an extra feature included in the Ultimate Team. But now, it’s been upgraded to the main event! The women’s game is finally taking center stage and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds in Career Mode.

You can look forward to scrimmaging against women’s soccer teams and athletes from the WSL, NWSL, D1 Arkemma, Liga F, and Frauen-Bundesliga.

Icons will be available

Based on the suggestion on the Ultimate Edition box’s cover, Football Icons abound in EA FC 25 for an engaging play experience.

As a lifelong soccer fan and avid gamer, I couldn’t be more excited about the latest update to my favorite sports game. Up until now, using historical players in Career Mode felt like a missed opportunity. The anachronistic impossibilities of having Beckham play alongside Bellingham were a disappointing reality. But now, those constraints have been lifted, and I’m thrilled to finally live out the dream of witnessing soccer legends team up with current stars. This update brings a whole new level of excitement and immersion to the game, allowing me to create unique lineups that would be impossible in real life. It’s a small change, but for us dedicated fans, it makes all the difference.

FC IQ

A significant change in strategies will bring about tremendous effects in Career Mode, most notably for managers.

You have the advantage of providing detailed guidelines or alternatively adopting the strategy of an established team’s playstyle.

Social media – and Fabrizio Romano!

Affirmative: Fabrizio Romano, the renowned Italian sports journalist, has been confirmed for inclusion as a character in Career Mode.

He’ll provide news, such as transfer details, on a new social media-style social bar.

Background Story

As well as the usual customisation, you can now play around with your custom player’s origins.
