As a seasoned gamer and a long-time follower of Football Club (FC), I must say that the new rewards system for this year’s edition has indeed taken things to a whole new level. The introduction of Icons and Heroes in the rewards is a game-changer, making the experience more immersive and exciting than ever before.
In FIFA 25 Ultimate Team, qualifying for Champions is where players reap the most significant benefits, similar to Division Rivals. However, it’s important to note that the structure of these competitions has undergone minor adjustments this season.
Just as it has been in past seasons, FUT Champs serves as a platform for the most skilled players to demonstrate their superiority and identify the elite among them.
Below, we’ll outline how qualification has changed, how to enter the competition, how it works this year, and everything we know so far about the FUT Champs rewards.

How to qualify for FC 25 FUT Champs
There are two stages to qualifying for FUT Champs: getting to the play-offs and then winning enough play-off games to enter the competition proper.
In order to qualify for the play-offs, players must accumulate a total of 1,000 Champions Qualification Points, which can be earned by participating in Rivals matches.
The amount of Qualifications Points you get from each Rivals game will depend on your current division, increasing with each division promotion.
When I reach 1,000 points in FUT Champs, it’s time for me to take on the Play-off matches. This is a significant shift in FIFA 25, as now there are merely five play-off games, compared to ten before. To secure my spot, I need to triumph in three out of the five.
Compared to the previous season, this year’s playoffs allow players to lose just two games instead of six. However, the number of opportunities for players to qualify has increased from six to twelve.
It’s considerably more challenging now, and ensures FUT Champs is for the best players.
In these Champions Play-offs, a victory nets you four points while a defeat earns just one. There are no ties or draws in this competition.
