I’ve been eagerly anticipating the release of FIFA 25 from Electronic Arts, and just the other day, I was thrilled to learn about all the confirmed modifications in store for FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT). The excitement surrounding FUT in FIFA 25 is building, and I can hardly wait to see these changes unfold.

I’ve had the pleasure of using both UT and FC 25, and let me tell you, there’s so much more to FC 25 than just what UT offers. With my years of experience in using various software, I can confidently say that the new features in FC 25 are truly impressive and definitely worth exploring.

FC 25 Ultimate Team: Confirmed FUT changes explained

As a long-time FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) enthusiast, I’m always eager to learn about the latest updates and changes coming to the game. EA Sports has already given us a sneak peek into what’s in store for FUT in FIFA 25, but I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming FUT Deep Dive in August. With my years of experience in building and managing my FUT squads, I can only imagine the new features and enhancements that will make this beloved game even more engaging. For now, let me share with you some of the changes that have been announced so far: [Followed by the list of changes mentioned in the original text]

Division Rivals checkpoints

EA is simplifying the number of assessment points to ensure a more suitable division for your skill level. Additionally, relegations will be implemented for elite-level players, allowing only the most exceptional ones to advance.

Division Rivals rewards

Instead of obtaining rewards based on victories, you will now be granted them through accumulating points. For instance, a victory will yield you three points, whereas a tie results in one point. Consequently, tense draws against evenly matched opponents won’t feel like a wasted effort.

Rivals legacy division placement

Before entering FC 25, the rank you reached in FC 24’s FUT (Ultimate Team) will decide your initial placement to prevent newcomers from facing long-term players right away.

Live Football Ultimate Team friendlies

Friendly matchmaking will now be determined by the number of friendly matches you’ve won or lost. This means you’ll encounter opponents with a similar record, creating a more balanced and relaxed environment for practicing. Before, there was a risk of facing significantly stronger players, potentially leading to disappointing experiences.

SBC storage

In the Squad Building Challenges area, we have a place to store and get rid of Untradable Duplicate Players. This storage can hold up to 100 items.

Evolution requirements

In simpler terms, the rules for evolving Football Club (FC) 25 items are becoming less stringent. This means you’ll have more freedom to use a wider range of Player Items more frequently during the evolution process. Additionally, there will be more opportunities to upgrade these items as the number of required evolutions is being increased.

Contracts

EA is eliminating the need for contracts for Player Items and Managers, allowing you to bypass red tape and begin your game on the field more quickly.
