Felicity Huffman is excited to take another trip down Wisteria Lane. 

Previously starring on “Desperate Housewives“, she expressed her excitement about hearing news that a fresh TV show focusing on a different set of neighbors is being developed.

In reality, a major attraction for her is the news that Kerry Washington will serve as an executive producer for the spinoff, which goes by the name of Wisteria Lane.

In the unique interview she gave to TopMob News on May 29, Felicity expressed her full and complete support for the project. She added how thrilled she was that Kerry Washington is involving women of color in it, stating that this is precisely what’s required at this time.

Besides being excited about the concept of the show, which delves into a diverse cluster of neighbors concealing mysteries beneath their seemingly idyllic, Instagram-worthy existence, Felicity is also optimistic that the original creator, Marc Cherry, might rejoin the team to contribute to the story’s development in some manner.

She mentioned that Marc Cherry, an incredibly talented creator, might be part of it. Therefore, we can expect an exciting journey ahead.

In essence, Felicity thinks the screenwriter skillfully created a one-of-a-kind atmosphere for the original series that aired from 2004 to 2012, featuring stars like Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, and Nicollette Sheridan.

According to Felicity, Marc Cherry possesses a unique storytelling style that deeply connects with his audience. Moreover, she emphasized that the friendships between women in his work are particularly significant and well-crafted.
