Just as many aspects of life return to their starting point, Final Fantasy 13, initially met with criticism upon its release on the PlayStation 3, has gained a significant following and is now viewed fondly as a sort of underground hit by today’s standards.
This new Lightning figurine is causing quite a buzz of kindness within the series’ fan base. It was designed based on some artworks from Tetsuya Nomura, and it will soon be available for purchase from Good Smile Company.
One fan asked: “Is that her remastered look?”
It seems quite improbable that this could be a clue, given that Good Smile Company is already producing figurines for characters like Noctis from Final Fantasy 15 and Fran from Final Fantasy 12 as well.
Although many games from the Final Fantasy series can now be played on the PlayStation 5, it would certainly be delightful if there was a remastered collection of Final Fantasy 13 to round off the series.
