As a long-time fan of the Final Fantasy series, I can barely contain my excitement for the upcoming “Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3“. Having played through both the original and the remakes, I’ve grown attached to these characters like they were old friends. The anticipation is killing me, but I guess that’s what keeps us gamers going!
The third installment of the highly anticipated remake of Final Fantasy 7, tentatively titled “Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3,” might still be years away. Similar to its predecessors released on PS4 and PS5, Square Enix is building anticipation for this final chapter at every turn. Earlier in the year, they unveiled “Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth” exclusively on PS5, a game that’s already creating buzz and could very well make it onto the list of best games of the year come December, much like its 2020 predecessor, “Final Fantasy 7 Remake.” If history repeats itself, we might not see the third installment until 2028, which would place it as a PS6 game rather than a PS5 one. Despite the long wait ahead, fans of Final Fantasy have something to keep them entertained in the meantime.
During a recent live presentation for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, director Naoki Hamaguchi found himself talking about the next installment, tenatively dubbed Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3. In the process, he teased fans that he thinks it is shaping up to be one of the greatest games ever made.
Hamaguchi stated, “Our development team is currently putting in a lot of effort, and we aim to create a game that surpasses all your expectations for it. I am certain that the third installment of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake series will once more become one of the most beloved and widely played games in video game history.”
Alongside Hamaguchi, series producer Yoshinori Kitase voiced his approval, indicating that the upcoming game is expected to surpass the size of its preceding editions.
Speaking as a passionate admirer, I must confess that contemplating the third and concluding installment in the Remake trilogy stirs an exhilarating sense of anticipation within me. The expectations I harbor for this game are truly immense! I fervently hope that fellow fans will share my enthusiasm, and we shall witness the realization of those high hopes. Rest assured, we are committed to enlarging and enhancing the realm of Final Fantasy 7 beyond its current dimensions.
As a passionate fan, I eagerly anticipate whether the third installment will meet the lofty internal expectations and live up to the hype that’s been built around it. So far, Square Enix has raised the bar incredibly high with the first game and its 2024 sequel. They consistently deliver on these expectations, so I have every reason to believe they won’t disappoint this time either.
