Long-held speculations about the return of Final Fantasy Tactics have been confirmed at last. Indeed, the game titled “Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles” is genuine and slated for release on PlayStation 5 this year, specifically on the 30th of September.
To set the record straight, this is not a completely new rendition as some rumors hinted. Instead, it’s a revamped version of the original PlayStation 1 game, offering several enhancements. These include fully voiced dialogues, an upgraded and modernized user interface, graphical upgrades, and numerous other improvements to the overall user experience.

However, for an authentic, retro feel, consider choosing the “classic” mode. This setting will make the graphics appear pixelated, as they originally did. It’s always enjoyable to have a variety of choices at your disposal.
The translation originates from the War of the Lions by PSP, it seems, and will include auto-save functionality as an added feature.
