The first part of Fire Force’s thrilling third season is about to conclude, yet fans are already catching a sneak peek into the appearance of the upcoming second half of the final season. This anime is based on the manga of the same name by Atsushi Ohkubo, which was published from 2015 to 2022. With the entire manga now completed, the series can now conclude with Season 3. The first two seasons each had 24 episodes. However, David Production, the studio responsible for the anime, chose to divide the final season into two 12-episode segments. The initial segment debuted on April 5th, 2025, wrapping up on June 21st.
David Production has unveiled fresh material to generate excitement for the upcoming release of the second installment. This promotional video showcases a blend of characters from the series, interspersed with significant visuals such as the cheerful, crescent moon. The depicted emotions range from bewilderment to irritation to readiness. The clip concludes with Shinra found in an odd vacuum, devoid of any color on him. David Production has not yet disclosed a specific launch date, but tentatively plans to debut Part 2 of Season 3 sometime in January 2026. This second segment will mark the conclusion of Shinra and Special Fire Force Company 8’s ongoing saga.

In this world, the action-packed series “Fire Force” unfolds in contemporary Japan where extraordinary firefighters known as the Fire Force are actually tasked with vanquishing flame-wielding monstrosities called Infernals. Our primary characters hail from Special Fire Force Company 8, and our unlikely hero is Shinra, an eccentric member who can spontaneously ignite flames from his feet. Each team member possesses pyrokinetic abilities, with Shinra being one of them. Initially, the story followed a typical shonen format, featuring weekly battles against monsters. However, it swiftly transformed into a thrilling tale of intrigue as it delved into larger conspiracies and high-stakes conflicts. The heroes suspect that there’s corruption within the greater Fire Force organization, while an enigmatic group called the White Clad aims to instigate the end of the world.
Season 3 picks up right where Season 2 left off, with the Knights of the Ashen Flames threatening to invade Tokyo. Meanwhile, Shinra and Arthur are honing their abilities in preparation for the impending conflict. As we move forward into Fire Force’s final season, the events are leading towards the “Great Cataclysm,” with Shinra at the epicenter of the apocalypse. Though manga readers may already be aware of Special Fire Force Company 8’s eventual fate, anime-only viewers will have to wait until next year to find out if they can prevent the end of days.
