Fire Force returns with fresh episodes in the bustling Spring 2025 anime lineup, marking the beginning of Season 3 with a blazing new opening theme song. Among the prominent series making a comeback this Spring, Fire Force stands out due to its impending conclusion. The creators have confirmed that Season 3 will be the final chapter for the anime, adding an extra layer of intrigue as each episode brings us closer to the end.
The third season, or Chapter 3, of Fire Force has started airing this Spring, marking the beginning of its final planned season. As such, it brings a fresh opening theme song, titled “High Flame” sung by Queen Bee. This new opening not only previews the battles that Shinra Kusakabe and Fire Force Company 8 will face in upcoming episodes, but also hints at some significant plot twists. You can watch the new opening video, shared by Crunchyroll, in the clip above.
How to Watch Fire Force Season 3
The much-anticipated first half of Fire Force Season 3 is now airing in Japan this spring! Fans living in North America, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS can catch it exclusively on Crunchyroll (and Hulu). This final season will conclude the anime series, with Part 2 set to resume in January 2026 as part of the Winter 2026 anime lineup. Each battle hinted at in the new opening brings us one exciting step closer to the grand finale!
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be back on board for the final season of “Fire Force,” directing it again under David Production! Sei Tsuguta is penning the scripts, while Mika Yamamoto takes care of the character designs. Yoshihiro Yoshioka, Mariko Kubo, and Yumenosuke Tokuda will be our chief animation directors. The returning voice cast is joined by some exciting newcomers: Yoko Hikasa as Gold, Masaki Aizawa as Dragon, Sanpei Yuuko as Faerie, Matsukaze Masaya as Fracture, and Shinji Kawada as Stream! Can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us next!
Get Ready for Fire Force’s Finale
Even though Fire Force won’t conclude until next year, there’s still plenty of reason to revisit the series now. It’s been quite some time since Season 2 ended, but excitement is already building with the start of Season 3. The premiere episode has sparked a major conspiracy within the series, putting Shinra and Company 8 in a position where they must battle against the Empire itself.
The intensity level has been escalating since Shinra activated his Adolla Burst, and it seems this trend will only grow stronger as the story progresses. However, with numerous new anime airing this spring, it’s essential not to miss out on “Fire Force.” Given its increasing action-packed episodes, it’s highly recommended you include it in your viewing schedule.
