First Alien: Earth Footage Teases a Xenomorph Invasion in Prequel Series

As a die-hard fan who has lived through countless viewings of the iconic “Alien” franchise, I can confidently say that the upcoming series, “Alien: Earth“, is the pièce de résistance of sci-fi television. Having grown up with the hauntingly beautiful terrors of the Xenomorphs, it’s a dream come true to see them invade our very own planet on the small screen. The teaser footage from Disney+ 2025 has sent shivers down my spine and left me yearning for more.

The impending Xenomorph attack is teased in fresh glimpses from the upcoming TV show “Alien: Earth“. Despite numerous “Alien” movies, including the recent “Alien: Romulus“, a television series has not been produced – until now. Created by Noah Hawley, “Alien: Earth” is set to premiere on Hulu as the first ever “Alien” TV series. The initial teaser trailer for “Alien: Earth” was unveiled in September, and a new compilation of 2025 Disney+ content has recently surfaced, offering additional sneak peeks into the inaugural “Alien” series. As always with “Alien“, there’s no shortage of suspenseful scenes and Xenomorph appearances to keep fans on edge.

The footage of Alien: Earth shown in the Disney+ 2025 trailer is short, but it does give an overall feel for the series. It’s worth noting that Alien: Earth is a Hulu series that will also be available on Disney+. “This ship collected specimens from far away moon,” a voiceover says. “Monsters.” We see scenes inside the referenced ship, along with three people emerging from underwater to go inside what looks like a cave. Finally, we see the big moon and a quick look at a Xenomorph.

In the television series Alien: Earth, which was developed by Noah Hawley, we find Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille, and Moe Bar-El in the starring roles.

In the eagerly awaited TV show “Alien: Earth” by creator Noah Hawley, an enigmatic spacecraft unexpectedly lands on our planet. A youthful woman named Sydney Chandler and a motley crew of tactical soldiers stumble upon a revelation that positions them against Earth’s most formidable danger, confronting the deadliest threat our world has ever known.

Because the original Alien series unfolds on Earth, it provides a fresh canvas for storytelling, broadening the franchise’s narrative horizons. Previously, Hawley hinted at offering something exciting to longtime fans.

Hawley shared with The Hollywood Reporter, “We’ve completed filming,” he said. “I’m currently in the editing phase. There’s a significant visual effects aspect that requires time, but I couldn’t be more content with the series we produced. If viewers were hoping for a TV show set in the world of Alien, I believe they’ll find something unique and special from me.

Ridley Scott has announced plans to create a fresh Alien film, but it remains undecided whether this will be a continuation of Alien: Romulus or an entirely original story. The movie titled Alien: Earth is set to debut on Hulu and Disney+ in 2025.
